Painted Poppies & Peaceful Moments Video Tutorial

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the card that I made last night during my weekly Facebook Live.  Each week I do a Facebook Live featuring a fun project or projects to you right in your home at 8 pm CST.  This week I played with products from the new Mini Catalog.  I used products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite.  Here's a look at the project.

Tips & Tricks:

For my card today I used the Painted Poppies Stamp Set along with the Peaceful Moments Bundle to create the beautiful floral card.  I love the Painted Poppies Stamp set and the Peaceful Moments stamp set they are both in my top 10 for the Spring.  The Painted Poppies Stamp Set is inspired by a field of poppies and features beautiful line-art images you can fill in with your choice of coloring techniques.  The Peaceful Moments Stamp set features greetings, greetings, and more greetings. Whatever the situation, the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set has the words you need to express your thoughts.  Here's a look at the entire suite of products.
Being a watercolor person I love the designer series paper because I can create a card without having to drag out any paints.  It's all done for me without any mess.  Which was why I pulled it into my card today.
But the main star of this card is the Poppy Moments Dies.  With these dies you can create fancy, layered die-cut poppies, leaves, and more to add beauty and depth to your handmade cards, scrapbooks, journals, and other paper crafts using the Poppy Moments Dies. Pair the dies with the coordinating Peaceful Moments Stamp Set to add heartfelt sentiments to your projects for birthdays, congratulations, sympathy, thank you, and more.  These dies are so easy and fun to play with.

Hello Floral Card-To A Wild Rose

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card that I made yesterday using the To A Wild Rose Stamp Set and some of my Stampin' Blends.  To A Wild Rose is a great layering stamp set that actually is a Million Dollar Sales Achiever Set that is currently in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  I love this card that I created it just makes me happy.  Here's a look at my card.

For my card today I stamped the outline of the rose from the stamp set three times using Tuxedo black ink and the leaves cluster three times and a couple other times so that I could have some extra leaves.  Once the ink dried I started the coloring process.  All the leaves where colored with Soft Suede light & dark Stampin' Blends.  I then colored the flowers next.  For the lighter pink flower I colored with my Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick combo blends.  The darkest areas were done with the Dark Lovely Lipstick and blended out until I got to the lightest area.
The two darkest roses were colored with just the Lovely Lipstick light and dark blends.  Once I had everything colored I colored in the centers of the roses with my dark Daffodil Delight.  I then took a white gel pen and added some little white dots to the centers.
Once all the coloring was done it was time to use the matching dies to cut out the roses and leaves.  The leaves that I stamped that was just the the single leaf I cut out with my paper snips.  I laid out my arrangement onto the card and then used press and seal to hold it into place while I worked on my card base.
I used the Decorative Mask Stencils and did a little ink blending in Flirty Flamingo ink on the area that the flowers were going to be at.  I then flicked on some Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick ink.  Once the ink had dried I added a little liquid glue behind the leaves and flowers that was facing up on the press and seal.  I then placed the cluster of flowers (still on the press and seal) onto the card base.  I then pulled the press and seal back up with the remaining flower and a couple leaves up and added a few Stampin' Dimensionals behind them.  I then placed that flower and leaf back onto the arrangement.
I stamped my sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink in the bottom third of the card base.  I then added a few sequins to finish off the arrangement.  I trimmed off the leaves that were over hanging off the card.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you have enjoyed my little card for today.

Soft Spring (May God Bless and Keep You) & My Weekly Special

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you with a card that I made using the hostess/host set Soft Spring.  This stamp set can only be earned with a qualifying order of $150.00 with Stampin' Rewards.  This floral layering set features some great images that can create some wonderful Seasonal flowers.  Here's a look at the card that I created for you today.

I used a couple of the layering stamps to create my card.  As far as colors goes I used a mix of both old and new.  I used Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green, and Blueberry Bushel.  I thought they paired very well with the images from the stamp set.  Here's a look at the stamp set and you tell me what you think about the colors and how they match the set.

You can use either the Stamparatus or just clear blocks for this set.  I used the stamparatus on my card today because I wanted everything to line up just right and I didn't feel like fighting with trying to do it by hand with a clear block and maybe I got it close or so close you may not notice it being off just a hair.  With the Stamparatus I could line everything up perfectly with precision.  I also love how it gives the look and impression of watercolor and I never had to even pick up a brush.
Once I had everything stamped layered and ready to go it was time to put the finishing touches on the card.  I added a thing piece of Pretty Peacock that I made into a banner and I mirrored that same element with the sentiment.  I also added a few of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones, just to add a little sparkle.
Thanks for dropping by today.  If you would like to earn this stamp set I have a Weekly Specials for you this week you are sure to LOVE.  If you place a $100 (before shipping and taxes) order using my host code you can pick whichever Host/Hostess Stamp Set you would like from the Annual Catalog.
You have until midnight July 23, 2019 to place your qualifying order and earn your free set.
