Rick D. Adkins is a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator & Southern Water Media artist from Athens, Alabama, and
part owner of R. C. Kinsmon Studio. I am one of those rare people who
love what they do and get to share what they love. I love stamping and
art!
I’m here to be your creative coach, give you fun project ideas, share
special offers, and, of course, teach you about fantastic stamping
products. Send me an e-mail or give me a call; I look forward to helping
you unleash your creativity!

Rick holds a BFA from Jacksonville State University, and teaches
workshops regularly in his studio. In my artwork I work in both
acrylics and watercolors, painting the things that he finds to be
beautiful. Rick finds that beauty sometimes can be found in the
forgotten and the historical memories of our past and culture. With my
Card making and crafting I like clean lines with lots of color which I
use my art skills and training to produce my cards. I enjoy teaching
classes, I love to be able to help others see that they can create
something beautiful.
Rick came to art at an early age: he would lie in the floor and draw
what his father referred to as stickmen. Rick’s loves for art lead him
to give up his day job and pursue art full time two years ago. Rick
has shown in several group and solo shows, both regionally and
nationally. Rick has work in two museum collections and in private
collections in the region as well as both nationally and
internationally.
His work can be seen both at his studio and on his website (www.rckinsmonstudio.net) .
