Treat Week 2020 #2 - UNDER MY UMBRELLA & Pleased As Punch Box

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the next project in my Treat Week 2020 series.  Treat Week is my week long series sharing different treat packaging and projects. Each day this week I will be sharing a new video tutorial along with coordinating blog post. For today's project I made this super cute box that's a great size.  I used new projects form the Coordinating Product Release (Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper) that's coming on February 4, 2020, along with the Under the Umbrella bundle.  This box will hold a lot of treats due to it's size.  Which by the way measures 5" x 3" x 1 1/2", so you can see its a good size.   Here's a look at my project.

I used one piece of cardstock to make this box.  I used a piece of Blushing Bride for the pink box and Gorgeous Grape for the purple box.  Both boxes was made with a piece of cardstock measuring 8 x 10 1/2".  I scored each piece on the longside at 1 1/2, 4 1/2, 6, 9.  Then I scored on the short side at 1 1/2 & 6 1/2.  Once I had the cardstock cut and scored it was time to cute the designer series paper.  For this box you need the following designer series paper; (2) 2 3/4 x 4 3/4, (2) 1 1/4 x 4 3/4. and (1) 2 3/4 x 1 1/4.

You will also need to punch out one of the umbrellas from the designer series paper (and I will go ahead and tell you that the design on the paper are not punch design friendly.  You will have to cut the paper to get the design you want to punch out, they don't line up like the punch if that makes scenes.  It does in my head but not sure if it is in the text.

To secure the box close I tied it shut with the Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon.  I placed the sentiment on a 2" circle from Whisper White and then added one of the umbrella from the designer series paper popped up with a couple dimensionals.  I love the designs in this pack of paper and the face that it coordinates with punches in the Mini Catalog and the Small Bloom punch from Saleabration.  Dress up your paper crafts with the flowers, hearts, raindrops, and other patterns from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper. Great card making paper, scrapbooking paper, and more.

Treat Week 2020 #1 - WITTY-CISMS Gift Bag

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with the first project for my Treat Week 2020!  I am going to be sharing a new treat project with you everyday this week using new products from Stampin' Up!.  Today, I am going to share with you a super cute project using the Witty-cisms stamp set (inspired by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Lisa Fast), the super cute Printed Gusseted Bags, along with the Tags & More Accessories Kit to make a super quick & easy Treat Bag.  Here's a look at my treat bag.

You can make a a ton of these with the everything that I listed above.  I picked the Witty-cisms stamp set for it's fun little play on words and super cute images that could be easily colored.  I `started out by picking my designer series paper and cutting it in half.  Which was super easy since the Brights Paper stack is 6 x6.  I scored both pieces at 1 1/4" and 1/2".  The 1/2" piece was attached to the 1 1/4" section.  When inserted the other 1 1/4" piece becomes the folded over topper.    I then picked one of the coordinating tags and label from the Tags & More Accessory Kit.
Once I had the designer series paper inserted into the gusseted bag and added the candy I folded over the excess of the bag and then closed it with one of the copper clips from the kit and added a tag.  I then stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink and colored it.  The Lookin' Sharp image I colored with Granny Apple Green Blends.  For the Thanks Berry Much image I colored it with Granny Apple Green and Calypso Coral stampin' blends.   The dark Calypso Coral marker is very close to Terracotta Tile, so it matches great.

Roses are Red Violets are Blue Chocolate/Money Holder

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a project that is very versatile and could be used in two different ways if not a few more that I haven't thought about yet.  I used products from the From My Heart Suite to create my project.  If you need to make some treats for Valentine's Day you still have time to do so.  I designed my project to hold either a Whitman's Chocolate Bar or maybe a little cash.  Here's a look at my project.

I cut my card stock down and scored it.  My cardstock was cut at 8 1/8 x 7 3/4.  I scored it on the 7 3/4" side at 5/8 & 7 1/8.  On the 8 1/8" side it was scored at 1 1/2, 2 1/8, 4 5/8, 5 1/4.  I then cut it so that I would have a side wall on both side and then rounded the top flaps corners.  I cut a piece of the From my Heart Speciality Designer Series paper to 6 x 2 1/2 and rounded the bottom corners to match the rounded corners of the chocolate/money wallet.  I then stamped the dotted heart in Real Red ink onto a scrap of Whisper white cardstock and punched it out with the matching punch from the Heart punch pack.  I inked my sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink and cleaned off the red and blue and used my stampin' write markers in Real Red and Blueberry Bushel to ink them up before stamping them in the center of the heart.  I placed to dimensionals behind the punched out heart at the top and bottom to create a channel so the ribbon would move freely.  I decorated the outside with the Heart Epoxy Droplets that I colored with both Real Red Stampin' blends before adhering them down.  I ran about 28" of the Real Red Double stitched ribbon around the box and tied it in a bow to secure.  I then added the heart over it and secured the ribbon on the back with a mini glue dot, just for a little extra security.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you have been inspired a little.  If you need any of these supplies you can pick them up in my online store by clicking on the items in the shopping list below.  I will be kicking off my Treat Week 2020 tomorrow where I will be bringing you 7 super cute treat packing video tutorials all week long.  So I will have a new video for you each day this week so you will want to make sure you check back in each day to see what's happening.  I am just going to tell you that these projects are super cute and really easier than they look. They will also range in skill levels so there will be something for everyone.
