Blogging Friends November Blog Hop: Celebrate with Some Christmas Cheer

Hello and welcome to my blog today, and the November Blogging Friends Blog Hop!  This month our theme is Celebrate with Some Christmas Cheer.  When I came up with this month's theme I had something different in mind than what I came up with for this month's project.  I didn't know at the time I came up with the theme that Stampin' Up! would be releasing a limited time suite that was just perfect for this theme.  But, they says things happen for a reason and this was so true with this theme and the limited time Christmastime is Here Suite of products that went live in my online store today.  Here's a look at my projects.

Yes, I did say projects; I really love this suite of products and created an entire gift set with the products from this suite.  I started out by creating a card using the Christmas Rose Stamp Sets, matching dies, Christmastime is Here Designer Series Paper and other products in this suite.
The Christmas Rose Stamp set is a dual configuration set; meaning one stamp set is clear mount red rubber and the other is Photopolymer.  The Red rubber cling stamp is the outline of the rose bouquet.  The photopolymer set is the layering set to fill in your outlined images.  This set works best with the stamparatus, so that you can get perfect placement with your stamped layers.  I used a piece of the designer series paper in the background of my card.
Next for the gift set I made a bow using the designer series paper.  I used the bow to decorate my little gift bag.  I also created a matching tag to go along with the bow and gift bag.  I love the look of brown paper mixed with pretty paper at Christmas Time.  I did a video on how to create paper bows a few weeks ago I will share that with you as well so that you can make your own.

To me there's not a better way to celebrate Christmas Cheer than with a gift set.  Because after all isn't this truly a time to share the joy of giving during the holiday season, so why not have a few gift sets made and ready to go.  Plus with the limited time Christmastime is Here Suite (available while supplies last) you will be totally ready to go during the holiday season.  Thanks for dropping by I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Blogging Friends October 2019 Blog Hop: Things That Go Bump in the Night

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I am going to share with you my card for this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all around the world. We love to get together on our blogs; to bring you fun themed projects with wonderful Stampin' Up! products the first Friday of each month.  This month our theme was Things That Go Bump in the Night.  Here's a look at my card.

There are always a lot of ghouls that go bump in the night this time of the year.  So I thought this sentiment was perfect for this month's theme.  I also thought all the ghoulish titles and images on the book made for the perfect imagery for my card this month.
I started out my card with just a simple Sahara Sand card base (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2) and then picked this piece of Monster Bash designer series paper.  And matted it to a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock.  The designer series paper is the main focus of my card.  I love all the colors, and the little images on the spin and covers of the books, not to mention the books titles and all when you get close enough to read them.  To add the spookiness of the card I used the matching Spooktacular Bash Bundle to stamp the sentiment in versamark and white embossing powder.  I then cut it out using one of the Ornate Frames Dies, which by the way are perfect for any occasion.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you have fun hopping along with us this month.  If you are viewing this post on my Wordpress site you will need to click here to go to my new blog and scroll down to the blog roll.  It will not show up on the wordpress site.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop: Septembers Theme was FALL

Hello and welcome to my blog and this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  This Month our theme was FALL.  The official first day of Fall is only a few weeks away and it was the perfect time to kick it off with all types of projects with the wonderful colors of and the feel of cool crisp harvest air.  I picked the Gather Together Stamp Set () from the 2019 Holiday Catalog (which is now live) for my project today.  Here's a look at my card.

Tips & Tricks:

I used the large leaf from the Stamp set and stamped it three times in the following colors on Whisper White Cardstock (); Cajun Craze Classic Ink (), Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink (), and Merry Merlot Classic Stampin' Pad ().  Then I used the matching die from the Gather Leaves Dies and cut them out.   My sentiment is on a piece of Whisper White cardstock stamped in Merry Merlot ink.
I created my card base with a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock () cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.  Then I placed a piece of the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper () onto a piece of Merry Merlot Cardstock () cut at 5 3/8 x 4 1/8.  The Come to Gather Designer Series Paper (4 x 5 1/4) I picked the plaid pattern with all the fun colors.  I adore this little pattern in this pack of designer series paper and think that it could be used for so many different types of projects.  Once I had everything ready to go it was time to start layering it all together.

After I had the designer series paper mounted on the card base I added the sentiment onto the card base with a few Stampin' Dimensionals ().  Once I had it in place it was time to arrange the leaves that I had stamped and cut out before hand.  I started out with the Cajun Craze leaf and applied it with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue () tucking it a little under the sentiment piece.  I then added the Merry Merlot leaf in the same manner.  I then attached the Pear Pizzazz leaf with a little liquid glue and a couple dimensionals.

That finished off my card and it was ready to go with the addition of a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  Thanks for dropping by today, if you need any of the supplies you have seen today you can pick them up in my online store by clicking on the item in my Stampin' Up!
