Sunday SIP (Stamps Ink Paper)Card 1/9/22 - Island Vibes ~ Rick Adkins

Hello and welcome to my blog; today is Sunday, and that means it's Simple Sunday. Which if you are new here this is the day I share cards designed for beginner crafters using only Stamps, Ink, and Paper. SIP cards (Stamps, Ink, and Paper) are a great way to learn how to create cards. Stamps, Ink, and Paper are the basic tools you need to create cards. So, I have designed this series to use those basic supplies. Here's a look at this weeks card.

Island Vibes SIP Card, for this weeks Simple Sunday Card using just stamps, ink and paper.

For this weeks card I used the same two stamp sets that I have been showcasing this week. I used the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set Island Vibes and the Celebrating You Stamp Set for the sentiment.

I used strips of different sizes of In the Wild Designer Series Paper on the front of my card. This allowed me to add a little more color and texture to the card. With the In the Wild Designer Series Paper you have a lot of color and texture to pick to use.

To finish off the stamped image I did add a little more texture to the pot with a Blender Pen. I stamped the image in Evening Evergreen Classic Ink and then took the Blender Pen and added a little more details to the shadows in the pot. All I had to do was move the ink around in each area of the pot with the Blender Pen. I didn't add any more ink to the image.
