It's Your Day Enjoy It - Happiest of Birthdays

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a fun birthday card to share with you using the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set from the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  The Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set is one of my favorite birthday sets in the catalog, and I love using it with it's large sentiments.  Here's a look at my little rainbow card.

Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set:

Make birthdays a total celebration! The greetings in the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set will help you create unforgettable cards and more.  The stamp set contains 4 cling stamps with large sentiments in different fonts.  Cling Stamps from Stampin’ Up! are premium rubber stamps.  And they have deeply etched images for excellent detail.

Scrap Time:

I used scraps of  Brights Designer Series Paper cut to 1" x 4".  I used different colors and patterns from my scrap draw to create the background.  To add a little extra to the card I used a piece of Vellum Cardstock to tone down the bright colors.  After attaching the Vellum Cardstock layer I used a scrap of Pacific Point Cardstock and one of the detailed floral images from the Artistic Dies to die cut this detailed layers.  But before die cutting the scrap I attached a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Pacific Point Cardstock.  By doing this it makes it easier to attach the detailed die cut to the card front.  The Adhesive Sheet makes the die cut basically a sticker for lack of a better term.

Next I stamped the sentiment once in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock which I then die cut with one of the  Rectangle Stitched Dies.  I then stamped it again in Versamark Ink onto a scrap of Pacific Point Cardstock and covered the sticky ink with White Embossing Powder from the Basics Embossing Powders.  Once the I heat set the embossing powder with my Heat Tool; I used my Paper Snips and cut out the Enjoy it part of the sentiment.  I attached it to the stitched rectangle with a couple Mini Glue Dots.  After getting everything finished I popped up the sentiment over the detailed die cut with some Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish off the card I added a few Matte Black Dots sprinkled around the card and a bow that I made from some 3/8" Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon.  The bow was attached with a few Mini Glue Dots.  Thanks for dropping by and make sure that if you want to get your hands on the supplies used to remake this project I have a list of all the supplies used below; so that you can order all the supplies that I used.
