Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a fun card idea that I got from the 2022 Sale-A-Bration Brochure. I CASEd the card because I loved it so much and thought it was super fun. Here's a look at the card.

Here's a look at the card that inspired my card today. Instead of making a square card, I decided to make a standard A2 size card. I kept the strips of cardstock that had been embossed with the little birthday party hat and colored. Instead of using watercolor washes to color the strips of cardstock, I decided to use a few Stampin' Blends to do the same thing. This is a little thicker because you have to be careful with your tips; otherwise, they will fray. (Blends Used; Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack, Pool Party Stampin' Blends Combo Pack, and Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends Combo Pack.)
Once I had the strips colored I trimmed them down a little. I tried each strip to 1" x 4" and added them to the card front (made from just a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock.) The top and bottom strips were attached to the card front with Stampin' Seal adhesive. I popped the middle strip with a few Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish off the card I stamped the party hat onto a scrap of Daffodil Delight Cardstock in Versamark Ink and used the White Embossing Powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and heat set it. I then used my Paper Snips to cut it out. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Basic White Cardstock and made a fishtail banner. I attached the banner with Stampin' Dimensionals and the party hat with a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added the finishing touch of a few of the Seaside Spray (Blue) Pastel Pearls.
