Awesome Otters SIP Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a Simple Sunday project for you.  This is a project created using mostly Stamps, Ink, & Paper.  Today's SIP (Stamps Ink & Paper) Card features the Awesome Otters Stamp Set.  Here's a look at my Simple Sunday project.

For this weeks Simple Sunday SIP Card I picked to feature the Awesome Otters Stamp Set. It's amazing what you do do with just a few simple supplies.

Simple Sunday is my series that I share each week for beginner crafters.  I also share some basic supplies that all beginner crafters should purchase to get started along with a few tips and tricks to make paper crafting easier and recreateable for the new crafter.

Stamps Ink & Paper:

I started out my card by stamping the two larger otters on the card base with Soft Suede Classic Ink.  My card base was made from Basic White Thick Cardstock:  That I cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored it at 5 1/2".

One of the best things that beginning crafters can purchase is Basic White Thick Cardstock.  This cardstock can be used for card bases as well as to stamp your focal images.  I would also advise picking a couple other packs of Cardstock you like or one of the Stampin' Up! Color Family Assorted Cardstock packs to add more color to your projects.  I picked Soft Suede Cardstock and Shaded Spruce Cardstock to add two additional layers to my project.

Simple Coloring:

If you like to color then I always suggest to my beginning crafters to pick up one of both packs of the watercolor pencils (Watercolor Pencils, & Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2). I suggest these because you can use them while just learning as colored pencils (as I did on today's project), but as their skills and knowledge progress then they can add a pack of Blender Pens to their stash and use them to create a watercolor look.

Thanks for dropping by and make sure that if you want to get your hands on the supplies used to remake this project I have a list of all the supplies used below; so that you can order all the supplies that I used.
