Cherish the Seasons - Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the 7th card in my 15 Days of Christmas Series.  In this series I am sharing a new Crafty Handmade Christmas project with you everyday, plus I will have a Live on Facebook each day sharing the joy of card making with each new project, along with a  new ordering special each day as well.

It's day 7 of my 15 Days of Christmas! Today the bells are ringing with the Cherish the Season Bundle click to learn about today' ordering special.

The featured bundle on my card today is the Cherish the Season Bundle.  The Cherish the Season Bundle includes the Cherish the Season Stamp Set and the Sounds of the Season Dies at a 10% savings.

Tips & Tricks:

On my card today I started out the process of creating by picking out my bundle of choice.  Sometimes when I start the creative process I start out by picking a lot of products and then narrow it down.  Others I start by picking products from a Suite, or by the Designer Series Paper I want to use.  Today's came from a random pick from my stamp set self.  I had not used this bundle yet and wanted to use something I had not touched yet.  So, the Cherish the Season Bundle was the way to go.

Next I picked my color scheme.  I knew I wanted to use a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and that I wanted to stamp on it again.  Just as I did on yesterday's card!  If you missed that post I will link it here.  So, normally I would pick my color scheme from the designer series paper but today I picked avery standard Christmas color scheme.  I picked Real Red, and Pear Pizzazz as my main colors.

Once that was all settled I could start playing and seeing what I could create with my chosen products.  I started out by stamping the bells from the Cherish the Season Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink onto the lighter wood grain piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  I then cut it down so that I could have a double mat.  I used Pear Pizzazz and Real Red Cardstock for my layering pieces.  I then die cut the solid bells from the same colored cardstock using the Sounds of the Season Dies.

Before placing my die cut bells on my card front I added a Square Vellum Doily in the center for even more added texture.  Once I had that in place I added the bells with Stampin' Seal and some with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I then stamped my sentiment onto a strip of Whisper White Cardstock in Real Red Ink and added it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish my card my card I added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  I added some of the Red Rhinestones over the berries on the Real Red Bell as well.  I then added a bow made from the Real Red Sheer Ribbon which was attached with a Mini Glue Dot.  If you place a minimum of a $50 order in my Online Store today you will get a pack of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels FREE as a gift from me.
