Whitman's Chocolate Bar Heart to Heart Treat Box

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am gong to share with you a super cute box that I made to hold a Whitman's Chocolate Bar.  I wanted to dress up the already cute packaging that the chocolate bar already comes in.  I used the Heart to Heart Bundle to dress up my project.  This is actually a super easy project to do even through it doesn't look like it.  Here's a look at today's project.

The first thing that I did was figure out what size cardstock I needed to create my box.  Once I had the cardstock figured out.  The measurement for my cardstock is 7" x 7 3/4".  On the 7 3/4" side you are going to score at 1 1/2, 1 7/8, 4 5/8, and 5.  On the 7" side you are going to score at 3/8" and 6 5/8".  Once I had everything cut I stamped the solid heart from the Heart to Heart stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on the front.  I then ran the whisper white cardstock piece through my die cutting machine with the Detailed heart die.
Once I had the die cut out I took the loose hearts and colored them with my Stampin' Blends.  I colored each heart with either the light of dark Real Red and Flirty Flamingo markers.  I only used one color for each heart.  Once I had that done I sat them aside for later use.
After coloring the hearts I added the detailed hearts die cut to the front of the box.  To do this I added the heart die cut to the front of the box with a little liquid glue behind the solid hearts and little dots behind all the other hearts that will touch the front.  Once all the glue was applied I placed the detail die cut onto the front of the box.  I let it dry before taking my snips and cutting off what was over hanging.
After the detailed die cut was dried.  I came back in with my Take Your Pick Tool and a little liquid glue and added just a little glue into the open hearts.  I then picked the colored hearts that I did with my Stampin' Blends and placed them into each open spot I added the glue.  Once the glue was dry I added clear wink of stella to each one.  The wink of stella really doesn't show up very well in the photo but looks of so cute in person.
To finish off my super cute little box I stamped my sentiment in Flirty Flamingo onto a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock and then stamped the outline from the stamp set in Real Red.  I used the matching Story Label Punch and popped it up in the center of the box with a couple Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added two of the colored hearts to the front of the sentiment with a couple mini glue dots.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you find my Whitman's Chocolate Bar Box as cute as I do.  I also hope that it will make you think about decorating a few chocolate bars yourself.  I picked mine up at the Dollar Tree.  Which is a great place to pick up certain candy inexpensively.  You can find all the supplies I used in the Stampin' Up! Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch Get Well Soon Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card I made during my Facebook Live yesterday using some of the new Coordination Product Release that will be going live February 4, 2020.  These products are only around until March 31, 2020 or While Supplies Last only.  Once they are sold out they will be sold out.  For my card today I used the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper and the Timeless Tulips Bundle to create my get well soon card.  Here's a look at my card.

Dress up your paper crafts with the flowers, hearts, raindrops, and other patterns from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper. Great card making paper, scrapbooking paper, and more. This pack of designer series paper was designed to coordinate with  stamps, punches, and other products from the January-June Mini Catalog.  The exact products that this pack of DSP coordinates with are as followed; Tulip Builder Punch, Heart Punch Pack, Umbrella Builder Punch, and the Small Bloom punch (Saleabration), and their coordinating Stamp Sets.
I used the Timeless Tulips stamp set for my sentiment on my card and the Tulip builder Punch to punch out the leaves and tulips from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper.  I will tell you that to get the perfect punch out with some of the designs you may have to cut around them or cut them out smaller.  The designs are not arranged as the builder punches are laid out.  To dress up my card a little bit I add a bow made from the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels.  I thought that the polka dots was a fun match for the striped background of the designer series paper.

Peaceful Moments With Deepest Sympathy Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a beautiful sympathy card to share with you.  I used the Peaceful Moments Bundle from the January-June Mini Catalog to create my card.  I also used the die cut coloring hack that I shared last week to do this card.  At the end of this post you will find all the sizes and dimensions for my card as well as the supplies that I used.  Sympathy cards are never a fun thing to make but they are something that we have to have.  I was asked last week by a follower to share one, and I just had happened to make this card.  Here's a look at my card.

Whatever the situation, the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set has the words you need to express your thoughts even Sympathy.  Sometimes it's hard to find the perfect sentiment no matter the occasion but the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set has one that's surely perfect for whatever you need.  I used the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for the background of the card.  I added a sentiment strip at the bottom of the card and one of the Poppy die cuts from the matching dies.
I used ink and a sponge dauber to add additional color to each element of the Poppy Die cuts.  For the base of the poppy I used Very Vanilla cardstock, but for the outline layer I used whisper white cardstock.  I inked the center up with daffodil delight ink, and the edges with Whisper White craft ink.  The leaves where put together with old olive and pear pizzazz cardstocks.

Sizes & Dimensions:

  • Thick Whisper White - 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
  • Whisper White Cardstock - 3 x 3, 1 1/2 x 4
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - 3 x 5, 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
  • Old Olive Cardstock - 3 x 5
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock - 3 x 3
  • Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4
I layered the card front onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz mat and then placed everything onto a Whisper White Thick card base.  I added a few of the Poppy Sequins just to add a little sparkle.  Thanks for dropping by, if you need any of the supplies I've used today you can pick them up in my online class.
