A Little Personal Update on my MIA status

For those of you wondering where I’ve been the last few days.  Well it’s a really long story.  As most of you that follow me know my baby brother Rodney has been staying with us after a couple bad physical rehab experiences.  He was in the hospital last week for a few days and then we went back Monday afternoon he wasn’t feeling well and chose to go back.   Well they couldn’t find anything wrong with him and discharged him.  As we were going to the car and getting him in he threw a few blood clots in his lungs and had to be rushed back inside.   After serval more hours he was put on a ventilator  and sent to icu they had to do CPR and got him back.  He’s doing okay he’s a trooper.  He was responding well that night after everything.   He has since came off the ventilator and was doing really really well.  They said that he maybe moved a regular floor tomorrow with blood thinner drip.  So I’ve been out of pocket the last few days.  Just wanted to give you all a little update why you’ve not seen any blog posts from me the last few days.  Love you all and thanks for the continuing prayers.

Much love and I will be back ASAP

You Make My Head Flutter Wiggle Worm

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a super cute card with you today featuring the Wiggle Worm Stamp and Die Set.  This was another set that I when I saw it I liked it but wasn't sure if I would use it or not.  The more that I thumbed through my catalog and saw this set the more I decided that I needed it.  And, I am so glad that I did!  It was just such a cute set and this is the first card that I have made with it so far.  I created this super cute scene card to share with you today.

I started out by stamping all the little bugs in the set and their coordinating body extras in tuxedo black ink and then used my Stampin' Blends to color each one of them.  Once I had them colored I used the matching dies to cut them out.  Then I stamped the little ice cream and colored it; and thought that I could use those in the background as clouds as well.  I used a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock cut at 4 x 5 1/4 and then stamped the ice cream in the sky to use as clouds.  I colored them in using my white watercolor pencil from Stampin' Up! so that I had just a little color in them.  And I thought that worked great.
I then used the grass and leaf dies from the matching die set and cut out leaves in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green cardstock.  The grass I cut out in Granny Apple Green Cardstock and some of the Gingham Designer Series Paper from the Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  I added the leaves and added the alternating color veins in each leaf.  That was no extra cutting since they cut out at the same time as when I ran them through.  I then added those to the card front.  I attached the sky card front to a piece of Whisper White (5 3/8 x 4 1/8) and then added each of the stamped and colored little bugs.
I did add a few dimensionals behind two of the grass layers so that I could add the bugs standing in the grasses.  This added a little more interest to the card.  I did heat emboss the sentiment in White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  This was an after thought and should have done this before I stuck everything down but it worked out just fine.  As I mentioned this was a super fun card and was so much fun to do.
If you have been on the fence with this set I am just going to say differently go ahead and pick it up it was so much fun to create such a fun whimsical card.  Plus it creates such a great Summer time projects.  You can pick up the stamp set and die set either separate or currently as a cost saving bundle in my online store.  You will find all the supplies that I used in the Shopping list below.
Thanks for dropping by today, and I hope that you have a great day.
Happy Stampin'
