Unboxing and Reveal of the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Lovely Day

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the unboxing and reveal of the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit Lovely Day.  Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription kit by Stampin' Up!.  Everything you need comes right in the box.  This is a super beautiful kit this month.  And, it contains nine cards 3 each of 3 designs.  Here's a look at this month's projects.

This month's kit contains a sheet of die cuts, a sheet of sentiment banners with rose gold accents, exclusive Lovely Day Stamp Set, Rococo Rose Stampin' Spot, Coordinating Envelopes, Foil Foam Stickers (with Rose Gold Accents), a sheet of dimensionals and mini glue dots along with some Petal Pink Sequins.  Plus you have all your card bases for each of the designs.  The great thing about Paper Pumpkin is that everythings all designed and ready to go when you receive you box in the mail.  If you don't have a large budget or are just starting out crafting, or even don't have a lot of room for craft supplies.  Paper Pumpkin is perfect for you since it's cost effect ($22.00 a month plus tax), it's small and compact, and can be stored anywhere, plus everything is sent right to your door ready to go.

Unboxing Video and How to Assemble:

If you are viewing this post by email you can click here or the image below to view the video.

This month's kit coordinates with the Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set from Saleabration. In this month's projects and free stamp set you see some coordinating images that match the stamp set.  For example the flower you see here are the same flowers on the cake image from the Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set.  You also have the cake imagery but instead of a whole cake you have a cake slice.  Plus this month's kit stamp set has some wonderful sentiments.  This month's Coordinating colors are Rococo Rose, Rich Razzleberry, Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, Petal Pink, and Pool Party.
The cards this month are full size A2 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) cards.  The card with the Rich Razzleberry Flower die cut on it features a super cute closure.  It has a panel that has a tab that inserts into the Rose Red Side.

Closer Look at This Month's Projects:

Now it's time to take a look at this month's project.  I only made one each of the three cards in the video, but afterwards I put them all together and it only took about thirty to forty-five minutes.  The first card that I put together was the super cute card with the large flower die cut.  I love how this card goes together with the fun little tab insert.  All the stamping for this card was the little flower buds and the sentiment.

The second card was the super easy birthday card.  This card could go for both sexes.  The stamping for this card is the layers in the cake and the sentiment.  I love the foil foamed sticker sentiments.

The last card for this month's kit is the scalloped edge card, with the flower and and the double banner.  This card has a fun look but simple.  I loved how the color for the flower was already printed on the card, and once you stamp the flowers over it the image is completed.

You have two different ways to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin each month.  You can do the Month to Month payment (which is what I prefer to do) or you can pick one of the four Prepaid Subscriptions.  You do save a little with the prepaid subscriptions, plus during Saleabraiton you can earn Free Salebration items with the 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions.

December 2019 Paper Pumpkin Something for Everything

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you this month's Paper Pumpkin.  I got mine last week and started putting it together over the weekend.  Paper Pumpkin is our monthly subscription craft kit that is delivered to your mail box.  Each month everything in the box is different as well as the projects.  Some months you may make cards, and some maybe a dimensional project.  Each month is a surprise in a box delivered to your door.  Paper Pumpkin contains everything you need to create each project and there's always directions, and a little video provided by Stampin' Up!.  This months kit contained 12 cards (4 each of 3 designs) and here are the cards as they were intended (well somewhat).

What's inside the box:

Each month each box has different projects and different components all ready to put together.  Inside each box along with the supplies for the projects you get a  exclusive stamp set and a new ink spot. The ink spot is just a smaller version of our larger ink pads.  I love to use them to travel and to use with my Stamparatus.
Here's a look at the supplies that came in this month's kit.  Along with the card bases and matching envelopes we got four sheets of die cut stickers that we used to embellish one of the card designs.  There were three sheets of gold foil die cut stickers that also embellished the cards.  Also in this months kit was a set of die cut banners to stamp all our sentiments on.
That was all the items to make the cards besides a little pack of champagne rhinestones, stampin' dimensionals, and this month's stamp set.
This month's stamp set features a ton of sentiments.  This stamp set has so many sentiments that you should be able to find the perfect one for the perfect card.  Also in the stamp set is a small flower image with three little flowers, perfect to embellish up your cards.
The final item in this month's kit as I mentioned was the ink spot.  Each month we get at least one in a coordinating color.  Some times we may get a couple of ink spots in coordinating colors.  This month's color came in a new 2019-2021 In Color.   Which was very exciting, and it was one of my favorite colors.  So I am sure you are wondering what color was in the box; well it was Terracotta Tile.  A great warm dark coral color perfect for so many project.

This Month's Cards:

As I mentioned above this month's Paper Pumpkin kit (Something for Everything) made twelve cards (four each of three designs).  One of the great things about Paper Pumpkin is that I can sit down and put the kits together anywhere and they don't take very long at all.   This was the first card that I made with this month's kit.
I love this background paper on all the cards, but this one was one of my favorites.  I love the gold foil accents and the mix of patterns.
The next card in this months kit features the die cut stickers and the gold foil die cut swirl.  This was probably one of the simplest cards to put together.   I stamped a simple thank you on one of the banners and added a few of the rhinestones to finish off the card.
The last card in this month's card kit came out a little different than intended.  I was supposed to have put the main focal point of the card in the bottom right of the card but silly me had the card upside down when I created it.  So it ended up being on the top left corner instead.  I used one the hexagon sticker and the small gold foil leaves.  I stamped the banner with Happy Birthday to make it a super simple birthday card.  To finish off the card I added a few of the rhinestones in the kit.
So are you wondering how you can get started creating using Paper Pumpkin!  It's super simple you can subscribe for a monthly subscription, or you can purchase prepaid subscriptions for 1, 3, 6, or 12 month's.  To get kit for a certain month you have to subscribe by the 10th of each month.  So are you wondering whats the benefits to each way.

Month to Month:

A month to month subscription (which is what I do) has a few benefits.  A few of the benefits to this type of subscription are convenience, and you can cancel or suspend your subscription at any time.  A month to month subscription costs $22 a month plus tax.  Which is billed monthly.

Subscribe to a Monthly Subscription

Prepaid Subscription:

Benefits to doing a prepaid subscription is you get to enjoy savings with a 6 or 12 month subscription.  You would qualify with the 6 and 12 month subscription for Stampin' Rewards.  During Saleabration you also can qualify for Saleabration items as well.  Another benefit to a prepaid subscription is they make a perfect gift.  You can purchase the subscription and give it to that crafty friend, family member or coworker and they can use the prepaid code to redeem when they want.

When you subscribe to either plan you also get exclusive access to be able to purchase past kits (while supplies last)  This is something that only a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber can do.

If you would like to extend the cards in your kit I will be sharing with you a few alternative projects with you this week on my blog and YouTube Channel.  So make sure you are on the watch out for them.  I will also be part of the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop on Thursday when you will see more alternative projects from a very talented group of Demonstrators.

Paper Pumpkin Thank You Cards & December's Kit Details

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my Thank you card that will be going out to all my Pumpkin Pumpkin Subscribers from last month.  I used a fun demonstrator only stamp set designed just for this purpose.  I used the One Stop Box stamp set which again is a demonstrator only stamp set.  But, I love to show my customers and my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers how much I appreciate them.  Here's a look at my card.

Tips & Tricks:

I started out with a piece of Terracotta Tile Cardstock and stamped the Paper Pumpkin box all over the background.  I then added a piece of whisper white stamped with the same box and my thank you sentiment.  I used Balmy Blue ink and cardstock for this.  I layered the whisper white image and then matted it with Balmy Blue.  This was popped up on the front of the card.
You can receive a card like this when you become one of my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers.  Why, should you subscribe?  Well, if you love to craft but don't think that you have time to craft.  Paper Pumpkin is for you, because it they usually take about 30 to 45 minutes to create.   If you love to craft but don't want to have a large craft room or a lot of supplies on hand.  Then Paper Pumpkin is great for you!  Everything comes shipped to you in a cute little box.  Everything in the box is cut prepped and ready to go.  You also get a ink spot (which coordinates with the monthly craft kit) and a exclusive stamp set.  In your very first kit if you are a new subscriber you also get a reusable clear block to use with your stamp set each month.  Another great thing about Paper Pumpkin is you control your subscription.  If you don't want to receive that month's kit you can choice to skip that month.

December Kit:

December’s Something for Everything kit includes a super-versatile stamp set complete with 13 sentiments that can be used for occasions ranging from wedding, to get well, birthdays, and more! Plus, the three full-sized card designs (four of each) are gorgeous AND multiuse—making this kit super fun.  The December Paper Pumpkin kit makes it easier than ever to give a handmade card to a friend—no matter what the occasion!  Start the new year right with cute, fun, and easy cards for 2020.
Before I go I also want to mention that Paper Pumpkin makes a perfect gift for this Holiday Season.  If you have a crafter or someone that loves to do arts and crafts no matter what the age Paper Pumpkin is the perfect gift for them.  You can pick a gift subscription for them.  Just contact me and let me know this is what your are wanting to do.  To get the December kit you have until December 10th to subscribe.  If you choice the gift subscription there are a few options for you, and they do not start until the person you gift them to redeems them.  If you would like to take advantage of a gift subscription for someone I have a gift certificate for you to give them.  Thanks for dropping today.

July Paper Pumpkin Cards, and a little about the August Kit and Add on Special

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the three cards from the July Paper Pumpkin kit and a little information about the August Kit as well.  The July kit coordinated with three of the suites from the Annual Catalog; the Come Sail Away Suite, Woven Thread Suite, and the Garden Lane Suite.  And the cards that we made just from the July kit were super cute and fun to do.  Paper Pumpkin is a great subscription kit from Stampin' Up! for those that don't know.  I will tell you a little more about it in just a few minutes.  But, first lets look at the projects from the July Kit.

You can see by the image above that these are super cute cards.  And, I am sure you can image how much fun they were to put together.  Let's look a little closer at each of them shall we.

This was the first card that I did from the July Kit.  It featured the Come Sail Away Suite, and I am just going to say Stampin' Up! did an amazing job at coordinating the products as they always do.  But I loved the extra large sail boat that was prestamped and die cut for subscribers.  I did add mine a little higher to the card then was shown in the instructions.  I felt you needed to see it a little more than you could in the design.
Next was the card that matched the Woven Thread Suite.  I loved the design and the bold fun vintage pattern on the card and the designer series paper.  It was super simple to put together and fast.  I think this was the card that I added the linen thread on the wrong way, but had I not told you; you may have not even have noticed that.
The last card I did was the Garden Lane Card.  And I love that I didn't have to emboss the card base or do any of the die cutting another great thing about Paper Pumpkin everything is already done for you and ready to assemble.  Which makes it great for quick on the go crafting.

August Kit:

The August kit is a Fall themed kit and we do already know it's all about treat packaging.  Which will be super fun in itself.  One of the great things I love about Paper Pumpkin is they are always thinking and creating cute kits that are made to do quick easy crafting.  Plus I can take it anywhere; and they make the perfect gift.  To get the August Kit you have to be signed up by August 10th, and you can subscribe right here.  It's only $22 a month plus tax.  What a great value!
There is also a add on kit being offered to subscribers this month (while supplies last) to change the treat packaging into cards if you would like card making over treats.  You get everything to change your kits sent in the add on.  Besides your adhesive and snips of course.  You can add this on to your subscription by clicking here.

Paper Pumpkin is Great for....

Paper Pumpkin kits are great for anyone looking for a quick easy crafting experience as well as; well anyone really.  If you are a stay at home mom with small kids; and you want to do a little Mommy and Me time Paper Pumpkin is great for that.  You can sit down with your little one and create these kits together for a super fun creative time.  Also these make great craft projects for home school students too.  So if you are looking for arts and crafts to do with your stay at home students Paper Pumpkin is the way to go.  If you are a person on the go and don't have a lot of time or space to craft Paper Pumpkin is the answer.  Are you leaving for college soon or know someone that is and they like to have cards on hand to give Paper Pumpkin is great for them as well.  Paper Pumpkin is great for anyone you can think of; empty nesters, college students, high school students, home schoolers, teachers, crafters, non crafters, the I don't know how to craft person.  I think you get the point.  Paper Pumpkin is a great gift for anyone and fits in anyone's life.

If you said yes to any of the above then Paper Pumpkin is for you and you can sign up to get it by clicking here.  Plus when you sign up as one of my subscribers I will send you a hand made thank you card each month your a subscriber and you qualify for free catalogs each time one comes out.  Not to mention you will get a free gift from me each month just like anyone else that shops with me.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you enjoyed this little look at the July Kit and your excited to start your Paper Pumpkin subscription and get the August Kit.
