Hope You Have the Best Birthday - Friendly Hello Bundle

Hello and welcome to my blog for Simple Sunday!  This week I have a simple birthday card to share with you using stamps ink and paper.  This week I also used a punch out that I had on hand to use also.  This card also serves another purpose as well; if you stick around you will find out what that surprise is.

So someone special that you hope they have the best birthday ever with this card using the Friendly Hello Bundle from Stampin' Up!.

Stamps, Ink, & Paper:

I started off by stamping the floral images from the Friendly Hello Stamp Set in Pool Party Classic Ink onto a card base made from Pool Party Cardstock.

Two things to remember when you stamp your background is to stamp in a triangle and make sure you stamp off the edge of the cardstock.  These two things will add more visual interest to the card.

Friendly Hello DSP:

Step up your paper crafting with this lovely Friendly Hello 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper. With 12 distinct patterns in cheerful colors, it’s a versatile paper you’ll use over and over again. Each page boasts a soft texture that’s sure to delight, especially when you add it to handmade greeting cards. Get this paper and say hello in style!

Coordinating Colors in this pack of DSP are; Basic Black, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Shaded Spruce.  I love to pull my colors for my projects from the Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!.

Suprise for this SIP Card:

So as I mentioned above this card has a little surprise with it.  The Basic White layer that you see on the card is actually a Basic White 3" x 3" Envelope.  I cut the top flap off with my Paper Trimmer and attached the Pool Party Cardstock mat layer and Friendly Hello DSP layer to the front of the envelope.

When attaching the sentiment layer you will want to make sure that you don't add adhesive over the opening.  Because you can slide a gift card into the opening to give to someone.  The 3" x 3" Basic White Envelopes opening is perfect for a gift card.  By slipping in a gift card you are sure to hope that the recipient will have the best birthday they can.

Thanks for dropping by and make sure that if you want to get your hands on the supplies used to remake this project I have a list of all the supplies used below; so that you can order all the supplies that I used.
