Hey, crazy cats and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a super cute card using the Clever Cats Stamp Set. Halloween is just around the comer and this is a fun little stamp set that you can use with Halloween projects or any occasion by changing the sentiment. Here's a look at today's card.

Tips & Tricks:

This is a pretty simple card to make it's just some stamps ink paper and a few embellishments. I used the Clever Cats Stamp Set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. The Clever Cats Stamp Set is the purr-fect set for your twitching hour projects including cards, treats for your tricks-or-treaters, and bags. Stamp set includes three mischievous felines that can be stamped peeking from a pumpkin, riding on a broom, or proving the long-held belief that if a cats fits, it sits.

This stamp set includes solid pieces to layer colors on the pumpkin and box. Use the bats and spider images to create a fun Halloween scene that’s more cute than spooky. The spider web image can be stamped repeatedly to create shorter or longer webs. Mix and match the images with included cat-themed greetings to customize your projects. Or, if you don’t celebrate Halloween use this set to create projects for the cat-lovers in your life. These cats are so sweet they can be used all year long.

This set does not have matching dies but I am working on figuring out how to use my Circuit to cut out the stamped images. I did use the cut outs on my card today. I got the machine to cut out the hat perfectly, but still working on the seated cat. Once I perfect the process I will do a video on how to do this. You can always use your Paper Snips to cut them out.

For the card base I used a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". I then layered a piece of Basic Black Cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" as my mat layer for the Designer Series Paper. For the DSP I used the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper which has some fun images that can be used for projects other than just Halloween.

To finish off the card I added a half a 2 1/2" circle from Daffodil Delight Cardstock that I cut out using the Layering Circle Dies. I stamped the sentiment on the circle in Pumpkin Pie Ink. This was placed on the front of the card front butted up against the 1" x 3 3/4" piece of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper. I wanted this to look like a moon raising. I added a few of the Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins to add a little sparkle to the card.
