Here are a few tips to help you out with the avoiding the last minute holiday card making and the most important part then not sending them.  I know you do the same thing that I do you have great intentions but the holiday stress kicks in and you may not get your Christmas and holiday cards in the mail on time or at all!  So, I am going to help you with that today with my little tips and this card design.

Rick's Top 5 Tips to Avoid Holiday Burnout:

  1. Avoid the stress!  Start now and get a few cards made every month.  With super cute and easy card designs like the one I am sharing with you today using the Inspired Thoughts Bundle you can whip out some Holiday Cards with ease.
  2. Make your list and check it twice to make sure you have all the cards that you need.
  3. Plan a Couple different Card Designs:  If you sit down now and plan out your card designs you can sit and mass cut all the supplies to create each one and be ready to go when it comes time to mail them.
  4. Mass Produce!  No I don't mean make a 1000 cards all at once (unless you need that many than God help you with the cost of postage!) I mean to sit down with a card that's super easy and cute to make and figure out all the supplies that you need and cut everything you need to size at one time.  For example cut all your card bases, layers, die cut pieces, ribbon and designer series paper to size and put them in a box.  Then you can just sit down and do all the stamping, then put all your cards together and have them ready to go.  Mass Produce in a production line!
  5. Create a Holiday Card Basket:  Gather up all the premade cards, envelopes that you will need, your address book, along with a couple rolls of Postage stamps and put them in a basket on your kitchen counter, on the table in the hall by the door, or just in your craftroom.  When then time comes to start addressing your envelopes you can sit down in your favorite chair with your favorite hot beverage and address away.
    1. By the way this is a great idea for just cards in general!  After the holiday season turn that basket into a card station and fill it with all types of cards.  That way when you need a card in a pinch you go to the basket, pull out the card that you need and write your personal message and send it on it's way.
    2.  Hmmm I think I will be making one of these today for the house Charles is always saying "I need a ______ card for so and so!"  I could just send him to the basket and let him send the one that he wants to send.
    3. After I make my basket I will try to remember to post it on Social media show you can see what I did.
