Today's project is also for this week's creative challenge over at the Spot Weekly Challenge Blog.  We have a super fun sketch challenge for you to play along with this week.  I will link the challenge image below.
As I mentioned above this is day to of my Treat Week 2021.  So, I took this week's sketch and created a fun cute little Russel Stovers Champagne & Strawberry Flip Top Treat holder using the Kangaroo & Company Bundle from the 2021 Stampin' Up! January-June Mini Catalog.  You can find this bundle on page 17 of that publication.

Tips & Tricks:

When creating any treat package I always start with measuring the item I want to make the holder for.  I place the item in my Simply Score Scoring Tool and measure the length, width, and depth of the item.  Once I have these measurements I can sit down and figure out the size of my treat holder.
For this Treat Packaging idea I knew that I wanted it to be open at the top or very simple to open anyway but I also wanted to keep it where I could easily take the treat in and out; so the flip top was the perfect way to do that.  And it was super easy to do.

I die cut the large heart from the Many Hearts Dies from Basic White Cardstock and then stamped the floral image from the Kangaroo & Company.  I then colored them in with my Stampin' Blends.  For this version I used Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, and Soft Suede.  For the other version I used the same colors but changed out the High Heather and Flirty Flamingo Blends for Rococo Rose and Purple Posy Blends.  I then layered them up on to the designer series paper top with Dimensionals.

For the top of the box I cut a piece of the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper to 3" x 9".  And scored it at 4" & 5".  I then used the Magnolia Dies to cut the decorative edge on the front and wrapped the DSP from the back attaching it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Once dried I added the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon as my closure.  The Heart die cut was placed over this.
