Hello and welcome to my blog; "Who's"  ready to create sweet projects for Christmas, and more?  You will, thanks to the darling owls in the Have a Hoot Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!  Today I have three super cute and easy Christmas Cards using the Have A Hoot Stamp Set to share with you.

Yes, I have three cards to share with you today using the Have a Hoot Stamp Set.  I fell in love with the Have A Hoot Stamp Set the moment I saw it in the August-December Mini Catalog.  I have not gotten to use it as much as I would have liked.  So, I am making up for that today with these three cute little cards.  Here's a look at the first.

On my first card today I started out with my Cherry Cobbler Card base.  I also used another layer of Cherry Cobbler that I used the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder on.  I then used the Plaid Tiding Designer Series Paper added to a layer of Whisper White.  I then colored the owl with Stampin' Blends.  I used Soft Suede, Shaded Spruce, Pumpkin Pie, and Cherry Cobbler.  I then cut it out using the Layering Square Dies.  Before adding the layered owl I added some of the Embroidered Ribbon wrapped around the DSP layer and tied it into a flat knot.  I then added it to the Card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I finished off the card by adding my sentiment on a Whisper White banner stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink.

For my second card I used the group of owls from the stamp set and stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  I let the ink dry and then colored it with my Watercolor Pencils.  I used my Blender Pen to soften and move the pigment around.  I then used a stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut it out.  I cut a scalloped oval from Melon Mambo Cardstock to layer behind the stitched one.  I then took a piece of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper and cut it down and then added it to a Whisper White mat.  Which I again wrapped the Embroidered Ribbon around and tied into a flat knot.  I took  a piece of Seaside Spray Cardstock and embossed it with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder I popped this layer up onto a Seaside Spray card base.  Then I added the DSP layer with Stampin' Dimensionals and then the focal image.  To finish off this card I added some of the All the Trimming Embellishments.

For my last card I started out with a Shaded Spruce card base and added a piece of the Plaid Tiding Designer Series Paper to the front.  I then cut out a stitched scalloped rectangle in Shaded Spruce Cardstock and a smaller one in Whisper White.  I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to do that.  On the Whisper White Stitched Scalloped Rectangle I stamped the two owls under the mistletoe and the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink.  After the ink dried I colored the images with my Watercolor pencils.  I then added the Whisper White scalloped rectangle to the Shaded Spruce one and popped it up in the center of the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I finished off the card with a few of the All the Trimming Embellishments.
