OSAT July Blog Hop Theme: Down On The Farm

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my projects for this month's One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop.  Our theme this month was Down on The Farm.  For my projects this month I used the Over the Moon and the This Little Piggy Stamp Sets.  I could have used a number of sets from the Annual Catalog but I wanted to do something with a little humor and super cute.  Here's a look at my projects.

My Card:

For my card I created a super fun scene using images from both stamp sets.  I stamped the little pig with the flower first in Tuxedo Black Ink.  I masked off the sentiment before inking up the stamp and stamping it down.  I then created a mask using removable Labels from Avery.  After masking off the the pig I stamped the cow where it looked as if the pig was dancing on the cow's back.
I then colored everything in with my Stampin' Blends.  Once I had everything colored in I stamped the clouds and went back in with the color lifer and removed some of the color.  I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of the Brights designer series paper.  I used the gingham pattern in Granny Apple Green.  I also used this same pattern on the inside as well.

The Box:

The box that I created this month is a nice size about 2" x 6 1/4 x 6 1/4.  I stamped the same pig and cow on the cardstock that I was going to use as the top.  Once I had everything stamped I used the Denim Ribbon and wrapped around the box and tied it into a bow.  I then stamped and created a tag and attached it with a little whisper white baker's twine.  I have a video for you to see how I created the box.
