Campology Card Z-Fold Card Video Tutorial ~ Rick Adkins

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you project that I made last night during my Facebook Live. During my Live last night I showcased the beautiful woodsy Campology Stamp Set from the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. Here's a look at my fun little fun fold card.

The Campology Stamp Set is the featured stamp set in my June 2021 Crafty Corner Monthly Online Card Club. So, I wanted to give the club members and you another way to use this stamp set. If you want to get in on the June Card Club you have until June 20th to sign up.

Todays card as I mentioned above is a fancy fold card. And, it's a simple and easy one to do. It only takes a few score lines and some layers to make. I used the Evergreen Forrest 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the Shaded Spruce layer that was added to the front of the card.

Once I had the focal image on the front completed I added the embossed image unto a Sahara Sand Layer and then onto a Evening Evergreen Layer. This was attached to my Thick Basic White card base. So, since the front was complete it was time to work on the inside and the belly band for the outside. Since the outside is simple but impressive I needed the inside to be just as simple but impressive. To achieve this I pulled out my Versamark Ink Pad and stamped one of the images from the Campology Stamp Set onto a piece of Basic White. It was then time for the magic.

I broke out the Soft Pastel Assortment to color the Versamark stamped image. The pastel chalk material also works great with images stamped in VersaMark. Simply stamp your image with VersaMark ink, let it dry, then color over it with the pastel markers and your choice of coloring tool. Expand your coloring repertoire with the Soft Pastels Assortment! These easy to use chalk pastels work with a variety of coloring tools like Stampin' Up!'s Sponge Daubers, Blending Brushes, and Water Painters. Here’s a fun tip: Try scribbling your pastel chalk on a scrap piece of paper to create chalk dust, then use your Water Painters to create your very own watercolor paints!
