Bride & Groom Gatefold Card - Handsomely Suited Bundle ~ Rick Adkins

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a very special card to share with you using the Handsomely Suited Bundle from the 2021 Stampin' Up! January-June Mini Catalog. I had to make a wedding card the other day for Charles' third cousin that's getting married in a couple weeks. So, I figured why not do something fun. So, here's the card that I came up with.

You would think that this card was super hard but really it was super easy. It did take a minute to figure out the measurements for both sides but I just cut everything to the size of each gatefold. So, that made it super simple.

I used the Suite & Tie Dies to cut the pieces out for both cards. Mainly for the bride side it was cutting the v-neck for the back and for her skin. On the grooms side I just had to cut out one side of the suit. I did emboss her dress with the Ornate Florals 3D Embossing Folder and the lapel of the suit with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I wanted the dress to look like a lacy wedding dress and the suit to have a little more detail than just the plain black cardstock.
