Berry Blessings Gift Bag

Hello and welcome to my blog; after some technical difficulty and having to reshoot the project that was supposed to go up yesterday for Day 7 of Treat Week 2021.  I am happy to be able to share this project with you today.  I CASEd today's project by the fabulous Sam Hammond from the UK.  I loved Sam's project so much that I had to make my own version.  Here's a look at the project.

If you are not sure what I mean by CASE it means to copy and share everything.  I used the Berry Blessings Bundle (which is a level 2 Sale-A-Bration Item), that can be earned with a qualifying order until either the end of the month or while supplies last.

Tips & Tricks:

This is really a easy project to do but it's a little different because you are taking off most of the top scored sections.  Two of the sections are cut down from the two marked sections into points and attached to the other part of the bag.  The top flap of the bag is the flap from the back of the bag.  This bag takes a full 12" x 12" piece of the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper.  So, this is a great way to use up your designer series paper.  Make sure as you are doing your scoring that you have the design facing up the way you want it to appear.

To secure the bag close I used some of either the Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon or the Old Olive Ribbon from the Ornate Ribbon Combo Pack.  I just simply wrapped and tied the ribbon around the top of the closed bag.  This bag can hold a number of different treats.  Inside this bag are a pair of socks I picked up at Target's Dollar Spot.  I got three pairs for $3.00 in one pack and they are so very cute.  I wished they came in my size because I would so wear them.

To finish off this project I stamped the greeting from the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and some of the berries onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and layered it onto a matching colored cardstock.  The entire sentiment was placed on the bag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Sizes & Dimensions:

  • Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper - 12" x 12"
    • on one side score at 3 1/2", 5 3/4", 9 1/4" & 11 1/2"
    • on that same side mark at 4 5/8" and 10 3/8"
    • Turn the Designer Series Paper to the side and score at 2 1/4", 9", 11"
  • Basic White Cardstock - 2" x 3"
  • Rich Razzleberry or Garden Green Cardstock - 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
