OSAT Blog Hop - Say Hello To

Hello and welcome to my blog and the first OSAT Blog Hop of 2021.  This month we are "Saying Hello To" the new products in the January-June Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  I picked to use the Pretty Perennials Bundle from the January-June Mini along with the Punch Party Sale-A-Bration Host Stamp Set, and the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure on my projects today.

Each month we have a new theme and are asked to create both a card and a 3D item with that theme.  This month as I mentioned we are showcasing the new products in the January-June Mini Catalog (January 5th - June) and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure (available January 5th - February 28th) both of these publications went live on January 5th.

The Pretty Perennials Bundle includes the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set (inspired by Million Dollars Sales Achiever Dena Rekow) and the Perennial Petals Dies.  Want blossoms that last forever? You'll get them in the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! The flowers, leaves, and greetings make this set wonderfully versatile.  The Perennial Petals Dies will allow you to grow a garden of beauty without having to go outside and dig in the dirt and plant bulbs seeds or whatever.   With leaves, flowers, and more, you'll have everything you need to create accents for cards and other projects.

The Punch Party Host Stamp Set (which is where the sentiment for both my projects came from today) is the perfect way to say thanks, congrats, sorry, get well, and more. This all-occasion set stands on its own as a fun and useful addition to any collection. Take it to the next level by combining the stamps with any one of three coordinating punches and have your own Punch Party! Simply stamp, add some color, and punch out the ideal embellishments for your handmade greeting cards, gift tags, and more.

Tips & Tricks:

Make your projects bloom and grow as I did today with the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. Mix and match the florals and patterns for a variety of looks. Use the watercolor circles to cut out your own petals, flowers, or leaves. Use the papers to create backgrounds on cards, or fold or cut to create gift and treat packaging. You can also use it to make custom envelopes for all your cards. This papercrafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more!  In the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, this wonderful pack of DSP is miss marked as coordinating with the Pretty Perennials Bundle but as you can see with both my projects today they both work nicely together.

Pretty Perennials Bundle, along with the Punch Party Sale-A-Bration Host Stamp Set and Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper are the perfect match to Say Hello To in the January 2021 OSAT Blog Hop

For my card, I used one of the floral patterns as the backdrop to both the stunning flowers and sentiment from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set and the Punch Party Stamp Set.  The flowers on my card were stamped and die cut using both the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set and the matching Perennials Petals Dies.   The thin floral shape on each of the flowers was cut out from one of the patterns from the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper.  I added them to each flower with a Mini Glue Dot to the center of each.  Then simply added a Champagne Rhinestone over the center to hind the Glue Dot.

For my Hope, you Feel Better Treat Box I used one of the 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" Acetate Card Box as the base of my quick little treat.  To decorate the outside of this cute little treat box I used a piece of Petal Pink Cardstock and created a belly band.  But then added a smaller piece of the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper around that to tie both in.  I then added some of the same elements as the card along with the same colors that I used to tie them both in.  On both projects, I have touches of floral, and vellum elements along with using the same ribbon as the card as well as the same sentiment.  When I give treat packaging for someone that is getting my "get well" gift I love to put in something that I like and that they may like as well.  Inside this little treat package, I have placed two mini M&M packages inside.  I mean who doesn't like M&M candies.
