When I See The Good In the World - See The Good Stamp Set

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you today a card that I made with the See the Good Stamp Set.  I love the sentiment on this card that says "when I see the good in the world I see you".  Plus I love the technique that was used to make today's project.  Plus I have a little sneak peek for you today also.

The images in this stamp set are filled with all kinds of symbolism.  For example, the artichoke has a tender heart at its core which is protected by strong layers of leaves - lovely characteristics that may be interpreted in a myriad of ways! They represent hope, peace, and prosperity.  I thought that it was the perfect image to showcase on my card today.

The pear also has symbolism and meaning behind it also according to thepresenttree.com "In many cultures spanning thousands of years, we can find references to the fruit of the Peartree as a symbol of divine sustenance, abundance, and longevity. The shape of the pear has represented the female form in the art world for centuries, creating a strong symbol of fruitfulness and femininity." I knew that in the art world that the pear represented the female form but I didn't know until I did a little research about the other.

I used the same card design as my card yesterday but with a totally different look.  Which is one thing that always reminds me about card making you can take the same project and change up the products and get a totally different look.  I stamped the background with one of the images from the stamp set in Blackberry Bliss and Highland Heather Ink.  I added some of the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon (available January 5th inside the 2021 Stampin' Up! January-June Mini Catalog.) And I added a little bling by coloring some Basic Rhinestones with my Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blend.
