Tag Buffet Stocking Christmas Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my last Christmas card for this year.  So, since this was my last Christmas card I wanted to share a nontraditional color schemed card with you.  For the next week or so I will be sharing more giftable ideas along with other projects with you.

Using the Tag Buffet Stamp Set for a Non-traditional Colored Christmas Card.

Tips & Tricks:

With this card I used the Tag Buffet Stamp Set to create a card that would be perfect for so many.  For example if you have a little baby girl this would make a perfect 1st Christmas Card.  The Tag Buffet Stamp Set is not only perfect for making cards but tags as well.  The stamp set coordinates with the Tag Buffet Project Kit.  Both the Tag Buffet Stamp Set and Project Kit are both on the Year-End Closeout Sale, so they will only be around while supplies last.

I stamped the stocking from the stamp set on Whisper White Cardstock and colored it with both Gray Granite and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.  I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite Ink.  Next I layered they Whisper White layer onto a piece of Petal Pink Cardstock which was cut a little bigger than the sentiment piece.

The card base is a piece of Gray Granite Cardstock cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  I added a strip of the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper to the card base.  I then added the sentiment piece to the front of the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I then added some of the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around the front and tied it in a bow.  I finished off the card by adding a few Champagne Rhinestones.
