Itty Bitty Christmas Brushed Metallic Tree Christmas Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a fun little card for you that makes a great different Christmas Card.  Sometimes it's fun to create something for Christmas that's a little unexpected.  And that's just what this card is:  It's Very unexpected!

I used strips of the Brushed Metallic Cardstock, Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and the Stitched Triangle Dies to create my card.  This is a great card to use up scraps of both Cardstock and Designer Series Paper.  I picked to use the Metallic Cardstock to add a bit of Metallic flair to this Christmas Card.

The strips are cut into different widths to add interest.  I started out by using a scrap piece of Cardstock and adding a piece of Adhesive Sheet to it.  This way the entire piece of cardstock is ready to stick the strips on and ready to die cut into the tree shape.  I used the Stitched Triangle Dies to cut the tree out.  I also used one of the extra strips to make the trunk.

I then stamped my sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock.  Then I covered the sentiment with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.  From there I added the the Basic Black piece to a Brushed Metallic Cardstock mat layer and wrapped the copper ribbon from the Basketweave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (which is on the Year-end Closeout list) I tied the wrapped ribbon into a bow and then attached the card front to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.   I then added the tree to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  To finish off the card I added some of the Metallic Pearls.
