Leave a Little Sparkle Make Your Dream Come True

Hello and welcome to my blog for the second time today.  This post is for Kylie's International Blog Highlight Winners.  For my card I used the super cute and fun stamp set Leave a Little Sparkle.  This set features some fun unicorns that can be colored any way you would like.  Here's a look at my card.

I decided to do a little ink blending and some stampin' blend coloring.  I started out by stamping the unicorn in tuxedo black ink and used some masking paper (Avery repositional labels).  Once I had the unicorn masked off I cut some masks in the shapes of clouds and laid them out of my cardstock and then did a little ink blending above the masks to create the look of the clouds being in the front of the others.  Once I had all the clouds done it was time to remove the masks.
After removing the masks it was time to do a little Blends coloring.  I used Petal Pink light and dark and Flirty Flamingo light and dark to color the unicorn.  I added a little dark smoky slate and light basic black to color it's hooves.  Once everything was colored I stamped the sentiment at the top and added a few starts and glitter dots.  I then thought it still needed something and created a wobble and placed behind the moon.
Thanks for dropping by today, if you are viewing this post on my wordpress blog you will need to click here to view the blog roll.  Below the blog roll you will find the shopping list for today's card.
Thanks for dropping by I hope that you have enjoyed my little card today.

Pressed Petals Tall Milk Carton

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my tall milk carton.  This is a super great project and super easy to do.  This project only takes a few supplies and holds a lot of treats.  To me these are the best two traits for any project.  There's nothing better than using very few supplies to create a project that holds a lot of goodies.  Here's a look at my project.

So I mentioned that this super cute box only takes a few supplies right.  Well it's one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock scored at 8, 6, 4, & 2 on the short side.  Flip it to the long side and score it at 1/2", 2 1/2, & 9.  I used the Pressed petals designer series paper to decorate the sides of the box.  I added a small piece on the front and back top.  I secured it closed with a little of the Burlap trim.
For the sentiment I used the Delightful Day Stamp set and stamped the sentiment on a piece of whisper white cardstock in Pear Pizzazz ink.  I added some of the little flowers from the stamp set in Merry Merlot to match the flowers in the designer series paper.  Once I had all the stamping done I punched it out using a 2" circle punch.  I added a piece of Merry Merlot behind the sentiment that I punched out with the starburst punch.  I attached it to the box with a couple dimensionals.  To finish everything off I added a couple rhinestones.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you have enjoyed my super easy tall milk carton.  If you need any of the supplies you have seen today you can pick them up in my online store., by clicking on the image below.
