OSAT Blog Hop: #simplestamping

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am sharing my project for this month's One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop.  This month's theme is about Simple Stamping.  For my projects today I picked the All Adorned Stamp Set (a 2nd Release Saleabration Item) and the Meant to Be Stamp Set (from the Occasions Catalog) along with the matching Be Mine Stitched Framelits.  Here's a look at my projects.

I started by creating the base of my card.  I used one of the large stitched hearts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits and cut out a heart out of the 4 1/4 x 11 thick whisper white cardstock that I planned to use as my card base.  I stamped the out side of the card using three of the heart stamps from the Meant to Be Cling Stamp Set.  Next I closed the card and stamped the sentiment from the All Adorned Stamp Set in the center of the heart opening.

I varied the sizes of the hearts along with the placement so that it would draw the eye around the card and create interest.  For the inside of the card I added a strip of the All My Love Designer Series paper and two 1/4" strips of Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  These little touches help to tie in the paper and color of the gift bag.  Here's a closer look at the inside.

For the 3d project this month I created a stitched gift bag.  This gift bag looks a lot harder then it really is.  This gift bag is actually very simple to create but looks so much harder than it is.  Here's a look at the gift bag.

This is a medium version of the gift bag and uses to pieces of cardstock along with some designer series paper.  I recycled the stitched heart from the card base and used it on the front of the bag.  I repeated the same stamping from the inside of the card.  During my Facebook Live last night I shared how to create a smaller version of the stitched gift bag.  You can watch the video below about how I created the bag.  The smaller version in the video only uses one sheet of cardstock.

Thanks for dropping bye today, You can go to the next blog by clicking on the name in the link list below.  You can pick up the supplies I used today in my online store 24/7.

Climbing Roses (Viewers Choice Facebook Live Replay 1/30/19)

Climbing Roses, Vintage Card, Stampin' Up!, Rick Adkins, Viewers Choice

Hello and welcome to my second post today.  I wanted to take a few minutes and share the card that we made two weeks ago during my Facebook Live on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.  This was a little different than my usual Facebook Live.  During this Episode I gave everyone choices and they picked what they wanted to see created.  We had so much fun but it did cause for a much longer video then normal but that was totally okay.  Everyone had a great time and loved what the end product looked like.  Here is a look at the card that we created.

Below you will find the full Facebook live replay of the today's card.  Just remember that it is a much longer video then normal.  I think we ended up with a little over an hour while we picked what to use along with the creative process.  You can totally change the speed on YouTube and speed up the video.

Facebook Live Replay:

The Process:

We started out by choosing which bundle from the 2019 Occasions Catalog to use.  Then I let them pick from the cardstock color combo to use.  There choices were Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride, and Soft Suede or Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, or Flirty Flamingo Cardstocks.  More people picked the Rich Razzleberry, Blushing bride soft suede combo.  So these were the inks we used as well then they picked to do watercolors over stampin' blends.

I had a great time working with everyone during this Facebook live to create this card.  I go live every Wednesday night at 8 pm CST on my Facebook Page.  So you can join me tonight for a new episode where we will be making a cute project from start to finish.   Below you will find a list of all the supplies that we used during this episode.  You can order the items listed in my online store 24/7 by clicking on the image below or by clicking on the shop tab above.

Happy Stampin' and see you tonight for this weeks Live.

Happiness Blooms for #PCC326

Happiness Blooms, #PCC326, Rick Adkins, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my card for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge.  This week we have a sketch that can go as clean and simple or as elaborate as you want to do.  I went more toward the clean & simple version.  I used the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper as the key element for my card this week.  Here's a little look at my card.

And here's a look at the sketch that inspired my card today.  You can click on the picture below and go to the Paper Craft Crew website.

The only stamping came with the sentiment.  I cut down two pieces of the designer series paper and one (which was cut to 2 3/4 x 2 3/4) was attached to piece of Call Me Clover Cardstock that was made as a mat which measured 3 x 3.  The other strip of designer series paper (1 1/2 x 3 3/4) was attached to a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (3 3/4 x 5) in the center and the focal images were layered on top.  This piece of whisper white was attached to another piece of Call Me Clover Cardstock which was cut to 4 x 5 1/4.  I attached it all to a piece of thick whisper white cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.

I picked a sentiment from the Part of My Story Saleabration stamp set.  The only way to get this stamp set is to earn it for free with a $50.00 purchase.

Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you have a wonderful day and that you have fun checking out what the other designers have came up with with this weeks sketch.  You can even try your hand at creating your own version of this weeks sketch.  If you would like any of the supplies you've seen in my post today you can order in my online store 24/7 by clicking on the shop tab above or by clicking on the item in the shopping list below.

Painted Season Bundle, Rick Adkins, Stampin' Up!

I just adore this pack of paper and the stamp sets.  The bold wish with the two tone two step stamping image makes my heart sing.  And was very easy to line up even without my Stamparatus.  Below is just one of the designs in this pack of paper.  There are a total of 4 double sided designs that coordinate with each season.

This's just my personal favorite design.  For the inside of the card I stamped a few of the flowers from the Painted Season Stamp set, and that was it.
