Merry Moose Stampin' Up! - Merry Christmoose Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the card that I made during my Facebook Live last night.  My card features the Merry Moose Bundle from Stampin' Up!.  This was one of the hardest to get bundes last year during the Holiday Season. The Moose Punch Sold out so fast and kept selling out that it could not be keep in stock.  And looking at my card you can see why.  

This stamp Set and punch bundle is just so stinking cute!  I loved this set so much and didn't get a chance last year to showcase it because it kept selling out.  I am so excited that Stampin' Up! brought it back this year as a Returning Favorite in the August - December Mini Catalog.  I am also featuring this set in my Online monthly card club for October.  I will link to my club page here so you can find out all the details and to sign up.  Here's a look at the card I made last night during my Weekly Facebook Live.

I started out my card by cutting some Pear Pizzazz Cardstock down to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored it at 4 1/4" to make my card base.  Most card bases are always a half a sheet of cardstock just cut in half either on the long side or the shorter side.  Next I added a piece of Real Red Cardstock cut at 3 3/4" x 5".

To my Real Red mat layer I added a piece of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (which by the way is on sale during the month of October as part of the Designer Series Paper Sale.)  The Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper was cut at 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".  You can click here to take advantage of the Designer Series Paper Sale.

Next I took some scraps of Whisper White and Mossy Meadow Cardstocks to do the rest of the card.  I stamped the moose outline in Soft Suede Ink and then stamped the fill image off once and added it to the outline.  Then I used the matching Moose Punch to punch out my Moose.  I used another Scrap of Whisper White and my Mossy Meadow Scrap to create the labels.  The labels came from the Halloween Magic Dies, so you can totally use them for other projects other than Halloween; don't get caught up on the title and think you only have to use them for Halloween, they are perfect on other projects as well.  I ran the small and large label dies through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  I then stamped the large Pine Tree in Pear Pizzazz Ink onto the Whisper White Label.  I stamped it once full strength and then two more times reinking it and stamping off on my scratch paper to create a lighter shade and to make them look as if they are further away.

Next I added the Mossy Meadow label die cut to the front of my card with Stampin' Seal.  Before adding the Whisper White label I stamped my sentiment at the bottom in Real Red Ink and added a couple Red Basic Rhinestones.  I popped the label up onto the Mossy Meadow one with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added a Stampin' Dimensional behind the moose's butt and add some Stampin' Seal to his head.  I placed him on the card front where his cute little butt was on the card base and the head was on the Whisper White label.  This adds even dimension to the card front.

Memory & More Note Card - So In Love

 Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card that I made using just the supplies in the Suggested Stampin' Up! Starter Kit plus one of the free stamp sets in this month's Get & Go Joining Special. Here's a look at the card I made with the 2020-2022 In Color Memory & More Note Cards and a few additional supplies from the Suggested Starter Kit.  


I used the 2020-2022 In Color Memory & More Note Cards and Envelopes to create this card, along with a little Whisper White Cardstock.  I used just two ink pads; Just Jade and Bumblebee, along with the So In Love Stamp Set.  Don't let the name fool you it's for more than just love cards.  I used it for a you made my day card today.  I used one of the Bumblebee Note Cards and stamped small dot image from the stamp set on a piece of Whisper White and stamped it around the card in both colors.  

I attached it to the card front with some Seal and then stamped another piece of Whisper White with one of the floral images from the stamp set in Bumblebee Ink.  I popped this layer up on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I then added a strip of Whisper White that I cut into a banner and stamped the sentiment.  Before adding it to the card I added just a little bit of Cinnamon Cider Ribbon to the banner for a pop of color and added it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I finished off the card with a few Basic Rhinestones.

Jar of Flowers Gatefold Card The Spot Challenge #127

 Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my card for this week's challenge over at the Spot.  This is my second day of only using supplies that are in the Suggested Starter Kit and with the Get & Go Joining Special.  This week's challenge at the Spot is all about Fun Folds.  I used the Jar of Flower Bundle and the Four Season Floral Stamp Set on my card today.  Here's a look at my card.  

I started my card wondering how was I going to make a fun fold card with just the little supplies have given myself to work with this week.  Since I was not allowing myself the full pantry of my creative supplies just how was I going to pull this off.  I was only allowed the supplies in my box, I wasn't allowing myself to pull more stamp sets, cardstock, inks or embellishments.  The whole reason I wanted to do this this week was to show others that may not have a lot of supplies that you can create beautiful cards with very little.  It's was all in how you used it.  

So, once I got over the hurdle and was sprinting towards the finish line I knew that I would be able to create whatever I wanted using just what I had preselected on my studio day Friday. 

I plundered through my chosen box of supplies like a pirate taking over a ship while at sea, and found the supplies that I wanted to use.  Once the looting was complete it was time to move on the creating.  I grabbed my Bumblebee Ink Pad and the sunflower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set along with some Whisper White Cardstock and started making my own DSP (Designer Series Paper).  This was something that I loved to do when I first started this journey five years ago.  So, it was natural to go back to this with just the few supplies a had allowed myself to create with this week.  

The best tip I can give you when you are creating this way is to go for it and have fun.  Make sure when you are stamping your own DSP that you rotate and move the stamp in different directions each time you add the luxurious ink to paper.  This will create a more interesting design and all the stamped images to fit onto the cardstock so much better.  This is also a way to have visual interest for you card when you are doing repetitive stamping.   


Once I had both pieces of my Whisper White cardstock stamped it was time to add them to the card base.  I took both ends of my Coastal Cabana Cardstock and folded them in towards the middle.  Then I used my bone folder to give each side a nice crisp fold.  Once that was done I added my handmade designer series paper to each side of the gate fold.  

I then took a piece of the Daffodil Delight Cardstock and added it to one side of the gate fold with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I stamped my sentiment in Bumblebee Ink at the bottom of a small piece of Whisper White cardstock and added it to the Daffodil Delight piece.  By the way the sentiment came from the Four Season Flowers that set that I used yesterday.  If you missed that card and want to check it out I will link it here.  I then stamped the mason jar from the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set onto another scrap of Whisper White in Just Jade Ink.  I took the smaller image from the stamp set and stamped the outline of the water.  I then cleaned this stamp and flipped it over and stamped the water. Making sure to stamp off once to get a lighter color in the same Just Jade color.  The Jar of Flowers stamp set is a Reversible Stamp Set meaning that most of the images can be stamped on both sides.    

I then punched out the jar with the matching Jar Punch and added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I stamped the sunflowers onto another scrap of Whisper White Cardstock In Bumblebee Ink and used a blender pen to add a little color.  I took my paper snips and cut it out and added it to the card front to make it look like the flowers where coming out of the jar.  I finished off the front with a few Basic Rhinestones.  

I then cut another piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and stamped the same sunflower image that I used for the entire card in the top right and bottom left corners.  I then added this to the inside of the card with Stampin' Seal Adhesive.
