July Blogging Friends Blog Hop - Green with Envy

Hello and welcome to my blog, and welcome to the July Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  This month our theme was Green with Envy.  I let everyone interpret that as they wanted but we are showcasing greens today.  Everyone did some fabulous projects.  By the way you may be seeing some new faces along the way of the hop as well as a new look coming soon.  Here's a look at my card for this month's hop.

I used the Arrange a Wreath Bundle for my card today along with two of my favorite greens (Shaded Spruce and Just Jade).  Shaded Spruce has been around since the Color revamp a couple years ago and Just Jade is one of our new 2020-2022 In Colors.  I love pairing them together because they play so well together.  I did add in a little Calypso Coral to make them pop just a little bit more.

I started out by stamping the one wreath from the stamp set in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink and then die cut the other (from the matching die set) from some Just Jade Cardstock and added it off set to the stamped wreath.  This allowed me to have both colors without having to do any fancy maneuvers with my Stamparatus.  The little flowers on the wreath are also die cuts from Calypso Coral Cardstock that I attached and added Champagne Rhinestones to the center of each.  I then added a Just Jade Gingham bow with a Mini Glue Dot and stamped the sentiment in the center or the wreath to finish off my card.

Thanks for dropping by I hope that you have fun hopping along today.  Make sure that you leave comments because everyone loves comments and we would love to know what you think of our projects.

May Blogging Friends Blog Hop - Favorite Retiring Products

Hello and welcome to my blog; today is the first day of May and it's the first Friday of the month! So, that means it's time for this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  This month our theme was showcase your favorite retiring products.  I picked the Capture the Good Stamp Set to showcase today.  I am sad that this stamp set is retiring I think it's super cute.  Here's a look at my card.

I started my card by stamping the cameras onto a piece of whisper white cardstock that I cut down to 3 3/4 x 5.  I stamped in Blushing Bride, Old Olive Gorgeous Grape.  I stamped my main camera in Lovely Lipstick and cut it out with my paper snips.  I then stamped the shutter and the oh snap in the same color.  I cut out the oh snap with the smallest stitched circle.  I cut out a scallop circle with the layering circle dies.  I popped the shutter up on the camera with a stampin' dimensional and added the sentiment with one as well.  I added the stamped image onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape 4 x 5 1/4 cardstock.
I added the some of the ribbon from the Botanical Prints Product Medley onto this layer.  I then tied a flat knot to this.  I then added the card front to a Lovely Lipstick card base.  I then finished off the card by adding a few of the Glitter Enamel Dots around the card.  That finishes my card for today.  Have fun hopping along this month.  You will find the blog roll as well as the Video Tutorial below.

Blogging Friends March Blog Hop Spring Wedding

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my project for the March Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is Spring Weddings.  Spring is a time of renewal and new beginnings.  Weddings are one of the biggest new beginnings that anyone can take part in their lifetime, and they are a great reason to celebrate; and it something that's meant to last a lifetime.  Here's a look at my card.

  Tips & Tricks:

As I said this is a easy card and uses mostly stamps ink and paper besides the dies from the Last a Lifetime Bundle.  I started off my card by taking the Very Vanilla cardstock and doing my die cutting.  Once all the die cutting was done I used the die brush to remove all the all the little pieces.

I stamped the sentiment floral image and a few of the hearts in versamark ink and added Sliver Embossing powder.  Once heat set it was time to add the card front to my card base.  I used Whisper White Thick cardstock to make the card base.  I originally used a portrait card base but for the video I used a landscape card base.  To dress up the card I stamped the sentiment on the inside with Basic Gray ink along with the flowers from the stamp set.  I also added a few rhinestones to add some shien and sparkle.

Blogging Friends February Blog Hop - Saleabration

Hello and welcome to my blog and this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  This month we are featuring projects made with items you can earn for FREE with qualifying orders during Sale-a-bration.  Saleabration is the biggest promotion of the year!  For my project today I used the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set which is a free Saleabration item, and the matching Birthday Dies (which are only around until supplies last or until March 31, 2020).  Here's a look at my project.

Tips & Tricks:

I started out my stamping the cake from the stamp set in tuxedo black ink onto a piece of Thick Whisper white cardstock, I also stamped it again so that I could cut out the flowers.  I used my stampin' blends to color the cake, stand, and flowers.  I used Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, So Saffron, and Calypso Coral.  I then cut the cake and the flowers out with the matching Birthday Dies.  Once I had that done.  I cut out a stitched oval from whisper white cardstock and a scallop oval from Calypso Coral Cardstock.

I used the little sprinkle stamp in the set to stamp all over my Petal Pink card base (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2) using coordinating ink.  I then cut a piece of Mint Macaron Designer Series paper from the Subtles collection (2 x 5 1/2) and attached it to a whisper white mat (2 1/4 x 5 1/2).  I then added a little of the Petal Pink Metallic Edged Ribbon to this piece before adding it to the card front.  I then placed the whisper white stitched oval to the scalloped oval with stampin' dimensionals.  I then added the cake to the ovals.  I used both the mini and regular size dimensionals to do this.  I then added the additional flowers that I cut out the flowers on to the cake with dimensionals.  This added more dimension to the card and additional details that gives the card a more impressive look than just with the stamped image.

I then added a piece of whisper white to the inside of the card with the Happy Birthday Sentiment simply stamped in Petal Pink ink.  I also added the same sprinkle stamped image in petal pink ink along the left hand side of the inside whisper white piece.  To add a little sparkle to the card I added a few of the champagne basic rhinestones to the front of the card.

Project Recipe:

In the image below you will find the main items along with item numbers that I used to create my card.  This is a great image to save to your Pinterest boards to remind you what to use to make this card.
