I Like You A Lot - Blossoms In Blooms Bundle

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a card that I shared with one of the Tutorial Groups I share with.  I used the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle to create the card.  I designed this card for the Tutorial COOP that I take part in last month and did it with our Purples.  Here's a look at the card I designed.

I love the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle Because it has the dies to create this bouquet that will fit on the front of a card.  The flower bouquet really wasn't hard to do.  To get the three different colors I stamped the large floral image from the stamp set in Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink onto my Whisper White Cardstock.  I then layered the Highland Heather Layer and Purple Posy Layer die cuts onto that.  By Doing this I got the three tone look.  My inspiration for this card actually came from the Tricolor Ribbon.

The Blossoms in Bloom Bundle includes the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set and the Many Layered Blossoms Dies.  Blossoms in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set allows you to create depth with watercolor-looking images you stamp, then you cut them out using the Many Layered Blossoms Dies.  The Many Layered Blossoms Dies will allow you to create and add layered flowers to your projects as you can see above.  These are just some of the features and reasons I love this bundle.  And I will say that I REALLY have to like you to send you a card like this.  No, not really it really wasn't as hard to make as it looks.

I then added the layered card front onto a Gorgeous Grape layer, and a Highland Heather layer before adding it to the card base.  I finished it off with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a bow made with my inspiration piece the Purple Tricolor Ribbon.  If you want the sizes and directions on how I made this card you can download the tutorial by clicking here.  Thanks for dropping by today if you need any of the supplies you can pick them up in my online store in the shopping list below.

Many Mates and Flowers for Every Season Shirt and Tie Card for The Spot Challenge #113

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my card for this week’s challenge over at The Spot.  The challenge is all about Masculine themed projects.  I created a fun little card that is perfect for Father's Day, that special man in your life’s birthday, or for an anniversary.  Or just because you want to give him a fun card.  So, knowing this I wanted to create a fun and special card for this week’s challenge.  So, I created a Shirt & Tie Card using new products from the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  Here is a look at my card.

I mean really what is more perfect than a shirt and tie for a card for a masculine event or holiday.  Did you know that last year there was about $12-16 Billion dollars spent on Father’s Day gifts last year and a large portion of that were on ties and dress shirts?  So, when not make a fun necktie and dress shirt card to give as well.  It really is not as hard as you may think.  On my card today I used a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4 x 5 ¼.  At the top of my Whisper White piece I scored it at 5/8” and then lined it up in my trimmer and cut in along the 5/8” score line one inch on both sides.  Next I lined it up on my grid paper at 0 (with 2” on both sides of the line) and folded in the cut lines to the center.  This is how I made the collar of my shirt.

To make the necktie I used a 4 x 4 score of the For Every Seasons Designer Series Paper.  I folded this in half from corner to corner to make a seam in the middle of the tie.  Then opened it back up and folded in the outside edges to the center line.  Then with a little more folding I created the floral tie that you see here.  I like pretty much any tie and I thought that this pack of paper would make some great ones.  I picked the one with the Misty Moonlight flowers since I planned on using Misty Moonlight Cardstock for my card base.

I attached my tie to my shirt with a few Mini Glue Dots on the back side.  To secure the collar in place I used two Stampin’ Dimensionals on both sides stacked on top of each other.  The two stacked were the perfect height to make the collar stand up and fit the top of the tie under.
I stamped the sentiment from Many Mates on the right-hand side of the shirt where the pocket would be in Misty Moonlight Classic Ink.  I know you are wondering how I stamped in Misty Moonlight since it is not out yet.  Well, we got a Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Spot in the May Paper Pumpkin Kit, otherwise I could not have.

To finish off my card I used a couple of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots as buttons on the collar.  I then attached the shirt onto my 4 ¼ x 11 Misty Moonlight Card base.  I added another piece of Whisper White cardstock to the inside of my card for a personal message.  Now my card is ready to go.  Thanks for dropping by today.  All the new products you have seen today will be available starting on Wednesday this week.  You will find a full list of all the supplies that I used on my card today in the Shopping List below.  Here is a look at the inspiration image from this week’s challenge.  We would love for you to play along with us over at the Spot this week.  You can click on the image below to see what the other design team members came up with.

My Meadow Happy Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am sharing with you a card I made this week using the My Meadow Stamp Set.  I can not believe that I've not played with this stamp set since I got it back in November at Centerstage.  I think I was a little intimidated by it.  I thought it would be a little harder to create with than it really was.  But it was quite easy.  Here's a look at today's card.

All I used for this card was the stamp set, a little ink, and a little cardstock.  I know right!  Can you believe that this was created with just stamps ink and paper.  I started out by stamping the gazebo in Soft Suede Classic Ink where I wanted it to be.  Then I added the ground in Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink.  I stamped it a couple times and decided where it overlapped looked likes little hills.

Next I stamped the set of tree trunks in the background first.  Then I stamped the larger tree trunk in the stamp set in the foreground.  All the tree trucks were all stamped in Soft Suede Classic Ink.  I then added the leaves with a combination of first and second generation stamping in Garden Green Classic Ink on to of the trunks.  I then stamped the water with Coastal Cabana Classic Ink in the foreground.  I justed used one stamp to create the water.  I just flipped it around to fit into the each area.

To finish off the card I added the stamped background to a Pear Pizzazz mat and stamped the sentiment onto a Pear Pizzazz piece and made a fishtail banner.  I popped the sentiment up on Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added the completed matted card front to a Garden Green card base.  And that finished the card.  Thanks for dropping by today if you need any of the supplies you have seen today you can pick them up in my online store by clicking on the items in the shopping list below.
