From My Heart Case the Catalog

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you another card that I received in the CASE the Catalog swap I took part in.  CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit.  Casing is a great way to take a design in the catalog and either recreate it just as you see it or use it as the base of the design and change things up a little.  This is a super cute card and came from page 8 of the January - June Mini Catalog.  On the very first page of the From My Heart Suite.  Here's a look at the card.

This super cute card features the From My Heart Speciality Designer Series Paper.  There's four different designer series paper designs featured on this card.  This is one of those card designs that will allow you to use up your designer series paper.  But, it's okay you can order more.  The From My Heart Speciality Designer Series Paper features playful heart patterns that have red and pink foil accents on some designs.  Some images from the paper can be cut out using the Heart Punch Pack. This paper is excellent for valentines, cards, and scrapbook pages.

The sentiment comes from the Heartfelt Stamp Set which is part of the Heartfelt Bundle.  The bundle contains the Heartfelt stamp set and the Heart Punch Pack.  The heart punches in the punch pack coordinate with some of the images from the From My Heart designer series paper, as well as images from the stamp set.  You can use both punches and punch out information from either the paper or the stamp set.

The designer series paper was layered together onto the Flirty Flamingo card base.  The sentiment was added to a whisper white strip in real red ink.  Behind the sentiment strip is a nest of gold thread and another strip of the SDSP.  Behind the punched out heart is a strip of Real Red Double Stitched Ribbon.

  • Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

From My Heart Be My Valentine Little Debbie Treat Box

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a project that I think you can totally use especially if you need to make some treats for your child's classroom for Valentine's day or for a view coworkers to show you are thinking about them.  I came up with this super cute inexpensive treat idea using products from the From My Heart Suite from the 2020 January - June Mini Catalog.  And, the best part is the treats that fit inside are little snack cakes from Little Debbie I used the Be My Valentine Cakes.  The super cute little heart shaped snack cakes!  And they have Flirty Flamingo icing on them!  So it was perfect.  And the even better part was they are super easy to make, and you could fold them flat and store them until you need them.  Here's a look at my project.

Tips & Tricks:

To make this top opening box you will need either a piece of Real Red or Flirty Flamingo Cardstock cut at 7 1/2" x 8 1/2".  On the 7 1/2" (short) side you are going to score at 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 6 & 7.  On the 8 1/2" (long) side you are going to score at 1 /2", 1 1/2", 7, & 8.  The long side of the box is the side that the flaps will open and close.  Once all the score lines are folded and burnished you will do your cutting.    You can watch the video for complete cutting and assembly instructions.
The box measures when complete 2 1/2" x 1" x 5 1/2".  So it's a nice size box.  You can fit so much more in it then just the little debbie snack cakes if you wanted to.  If you are using the little debbie cakes it will fit one pack of the Be My Valentine Snake Cakes pictured above.  You get 5 or the two packs in a box for a couple bucks.  So really cost effect to give.  It's also a great way to dress up a simple little item.  And really who doesn't like Little Debbies?  I love them and I am almost 46 years old.
I used the Heartfelt bundle to create the sentiment on the outside of the box, and the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series paper along with the Heart Shape Doilies to dress up the box.  I cut my DSP down to 2 x 5" and matted them on a piece of 2 1/4 x 5 1/4" whisper white cardstock.  I used a scrap piece of whisper white cardstock to stamp the heart in Real Red Ink and punched it out using one of the matching Heart punches from the Bundle.  I stamped the arrow in Basic Gray ink and cut it out by hand.  I added the doily to the front of the box with a little snail adhesive and then added the arrow with mini glue dots.  I popped the heart up on the box with a couple stampin' dimensionals.

From My Heart Ferrero Rocher Gift Box

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my From My Heart Ferrero Rocher Gift Box. I created this box to hold four Ferrero Rocher Candies, (which by the way is one of my favorites). This is a great little project for Valentine's Day, and since it is just around the corner.I used the From My Heart Designer Series Paper for the main focus of my box. Here's a look at the box.

Tips & Tricks:

For the box you will need a 7 x 7" piece of cardstock scored at 2" on all four sides. Well actually its just shy of 7 x 7. I cut it on my new trimmer and came back just one notch on it from the 7" mark so its' 6 and something 16th of an inch. I used both a piece of Real Red and Flirty Flamingo Cardstock for the box bases. I pulled these colors from the designer series paper; which I used for the tops. I cut the tops at 5 x 5 and scored at 1" all the way around.
I stamped my sentiment from the Heartfelt Stamp set in the center of one of the hearts in the Designer Series paper. Most of the sentiments from the stamp set will fit. I used Real Red ink for the sentiment. The little heart you see was also punched from the designer series paper with the dog punch. The heart on this punch is almost a perfect fit, there's just a very little over hang.
