A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop: A Little Smile

Hello and welcome to my blog; today you may have noticed that we are a little later than normal.  That's because I am taking part in this month's A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop.  The blog hop goes live a little later than my normal post.  This month we are showcasing alternative projects for the A Little Smile June 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This kit was designed to give you small little cards to be used for Random Acts of Kindness (RAK cards).  Here's a look at my alternative projects.
I created a larger card from the smaller cards in the set and a desk organizer/card box to put those cards in along with some stamps and other post it notes.  That way you have everything right at hand to send out your cards.

Video Tutorial:

If you are viewing my post by email you will have to click on the image below to view the video.

Closer Look:

Here's a little closer look at both of my projects.
For my card I used one of the little rak cards to create the focal image for my larger card.  I used a piece of coastal cabana cardstock and created a top folding A2 size card.  I stamped the background using three of the images from this month's stamp set.  I then added accents from this month's kit.  Here's a closer look at this month's stamp set and the supplies that came in the kit.
For my dimensional project I created a little desk/card organizer for A2 size cards.  The desk organizer will hold about five or six cards, as well as some post it notes and stamps, plus you can place your business cards in the front little bin.  I created this from just one sheet of crumb cake cardstock; not bad if you ask me.
Well, that's my projects for this month I hope that you have enjoyed them both.  If you would like to get Paper Pumpkin you can do so by signing up here.  If you are viewing this post on my wordpress blog you will need to click here to view the blog roll.

May 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit Hugs from Shelli

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the projects from the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit and give you a little sneak peek of the June 2019 Kit.  The May create was inspired and co designed by Stampin' Up!'s Co-Founder Shelli Gardner.  Shelli has a very classic style to her projects and she loves heat embossing so I was surprised that this kit didn't have a little embossing with it.  But everything else was so Shelli.  This was a super fun kit and was the first kit to be offered in the international market.  Which was very special for everyone.  I shared a few alternative projects for this kit yesterday for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop.  I will link that post here.  The blog hop yesterday was so fun and all the projects were wonderful you will differently want to check them out.  Here's a look at the cards from this month's kit as intended.

The May Kit focused on four note cards each with a different design.  You made three of each design.  I used some of mine to create my alternative cards in yesterday's post.  The May kit also came in a special box, which is so pretty.  I can also tell you that the kit coordinates with the Bird Ballard Suite in the upcoming Catalog.  Paper Pumpkin is such a great deal, you get everything in the box that you need for each project.  All the instructions on printed in the flyer on the inside.  You also get a exclusive stamp set, ink spot, and all the components for the cards.  Here's a look at what came in this month's kit.
That's a lot of product for such a small price point.  Starting in June the Price for a monthly kit will be $22.00 per kit with the monthly subscription.  You can also purchase Paper Pumpkin as a gift for someone with one of the Prepaid Subscriptions.  The Prepaid Subscriptions are as followed; 1 month $21.00, 3 months $63.00, 6 months $114.00 (you save $1 per kit), and 12 months $220 (you buy 11 and get the 12th month free with this option) you do have to pay the shipping costs & taxes with the Prepaid Subscriptions up front , where with the monthly subscription you are only paying taxes.

June Kit Sneak Peek:

The June kit makes it easy for you to scatter sunshine this summer—whenever, with whomever.  Not only do you get 16 fun-sized, beach-themed cards and envelopes, but you also are provided with an exclusive carrying case so you’ll always have your cards on hand to share wherever you go.  And don’t forget the exclusive stamp set and ink spot that completes every Paper Pumpkin kit!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop: Hugs From Shelli Kit

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a few alternative projects using the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit Hugs from Shelli.  I am super excited to play with this kit which was designed with Shelli Gardner Stampin' Up!'s Co-Fonder.  This was a super fun kit to play with and I may have been a little over zealous with my alternatives this month.  So let's jump into them right now.
So for my projects this month I created not one card but five different designs and did two of each design plus created a large gift box that would hold all ten card, envelopes and with a little room for more.  This was super fun today. I kept my cards on the simple side.  I used five pieces of cardstock to create each card plus the note cards that came in this month's kit.  I did throw in a couple scraps of whisper white cardstock to finish off my sentiments.  Here's a look at my cards.

,For two of the card designs I had to cut the note cards in half to have enough to make all 10 cards.  So once I had these all made I needed someplace to put them so I created a large gift box that will hold all 10 cards plus envelopes for each.  This makes for a super quick and easy gift.  Here's my gift box.
I used a couple pieces of cardstock to make the box and a little designer series paper.  The designer Series paper you see comes from the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper Stack (new in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog).  From this month's kit I used some of the die cut elements and the Pretty Peacock Velvet ribbon.  This box is super easy to make as you will see in my video tutorial.
If you are viewing this post via email you will need to click the image below to see the video.
Thanks for dropping bye today; I hope that you have enjoyed my alternative projects this month and that you will take the time to hop all the way along the blog hop. We have some special guests with us this month so I know you will want to check them out.  If you are viewing this post on my wordpress site you will need to click here to view the blog roll.
