Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Team Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my second post for today!  I am back with you again today for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Programs Monthly Team Blog Hop.  This is a wonderful hop and you will see projects from all over the world.  I hope that you will take the time to hop along with us this month.
If this is your first time here welcome, if you have dropped by again welcome back.  Here's a look at the project I am going to be sharing with you today.

For my card today I created a fun little Fall themed wedding card using the Bloom & Grow Stamp set from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  My card is a monochromatic card using only Early Espresso and Copper.  I thought this was a perfect Fall color combination and it uses one of my favorite stamp sets.  I love the Bloom and Grow stamp set but I've not gotten to use it a lot so far this year.  I thought this was the perfect time to do so.  Fall is a big time for weddings and let's face it we can all use a few extra wedding cards that can be used for anytime of the year.
The Bloom & Grow Stamp Set offers beautiful decorative flower bouquets for all occasions.  All for you to color in! Which are just a few of the reasons I love it so much.  It's a perfect set to create all occasions cards with; almost everyone loves flowers and you don't have to use it as a coloring set; just like I did today.  I used it to create a stunning card with just stamps, ink, and paper.  I had the best time creating the focal image in the background and the copper embossing paired with the early espresso is a show stopper.  If you are wondering how I did this; well, it was super easy with my Stamparatus.  I arranged all the large floral images on the card front and closed the stamparatus door on it.  I then stamped in versamark ink and covered that section in copper embossing powder.  I then rotated the card front and repeated the process until I had everything covered.
While arranging the large images I was very surprised at how easily they all lined up, and sort of interlocked with the other images.  I then came back in with the smaller images in the set and filled in any holes I had in my design.  I then took my card front and ran my Versamark Ink Pad along the edge and dipped the edges in the copper embossing powder and heat set.  This created my mat for around the card.  I heat embossed my sentiment in a piece of Vellum Cardstock using the copper embossing powder.  I then cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and added it to my card front with a little liquid glue behind the lettering.  I then colored some Rhinestone Basic Jewels using my Bronze Stampin' Blend marker, I put a coat on and let it dry and then added another two coats of ink.  Once completely dry I added them to the card front.  I added some on the parts of the vellum that was hanging of on the card front to add a little extra security.  With the addition of the colored rhinestones I was finished with my card.
I hope that you like my little Fall wedding card for this month's blog hop.  If you are viewing this post on my word press site you will have to click here to go and view the blog roll.  The embedded code for the blog roll doesn't play nicely with word press dot com blogs.  So you will have to visit my new blog.

Kylie's International Training Blog Hop August 2019

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the card I made for Kylie Bertucci's International Training Blog Hop.  I CASEd this card from the Catalog and gave it my own little twist.  The card in the catalog was designed a little smaller than how I did it.  Your catalogs are so much more than just my store front, they are an idea book to help you come up with ideas.  Here's a look at my card for this month's hop.

Here is the card that I was inspired from the Annual Catalog to create this card.
As You can see from the image above I increased my card size to a A2 size card 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.  And added a outside mat in Daffodil Delight (5 3/8 x 4 1/8) before adding the 3 x 3 envelope and the pull tab.  I used the new medium daisy punch instead of the butterfly duet punch also.  Plus I also added just a little ribbon so someone would know to pull it up.

Thanks for dropping by today for this quick post.  If you are viewing this on my Wordpress site you will need to click here for the blog roll.

Magical Mermaid Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card featuring the Magical Mermaid Stamp set.  For this card I designed it using both carry over products and brand new products from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  Here's a look at today's card.

I used the Come Sail Away Designer Series paper for the background of my card.  Along with some die cuts from the Smooth Sailing Dies.  I thought it was very fitting to use both the New Designer Series paper and dies and match them with the Magical Mermaid stamp set.  I stamped and colored the mermaid in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her using my Stampin' Blends.  As far as which ones I used I picked Seaside Spray (New 2019-2021 In Color), Poppy Parade, and Ivory.  No super fancy coloring just super simple.
On the inside of the card I added a strip of Seaside Spray cardstock that I stamped the seaweed from the Magical Mermaid set on in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The sentiment was stamped in Seaside Spray ink on Whisper White and then I used another die from the Smooth Sailing Dies to cut out the sentiment.  Today's card is part of a blog hop for Kylie Bertucci's Training Group.  So will find a ton of great projects along the hop.  If you are viewing this post on my wordpress site you will need to click here to view the blog roll.

  • Another note if you leave a comment and don't get one back don't think that I didn't read it I am in the middle of working out a problem on my blog with replying to comments.  I comment on everyone's comment but I noticed they are not showing up.  So I  am trying to get that all fixed.  Leave a comment on the wordpress site for now and that way I can differently reply.
