It's Time To Shell-ebrate - Turtle Friends Bundle

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a super cute little mini slimline card with you today featuring the Turtle and Friends Bundle.  This is a super fun and playful little birthday card for any age.  Here's a look at the card.

First Things First:

Start off with the background.  Use a piece of Basic White Cardstock and some Pacific Point Classic Ink along with a blending tool to ink blend the sky.  I used a Blending Brush for the ink blending today.   I started with a light amount of ink and built up the layer to achieve the color saturation that I wanted.

Next, you will cut a strip of green designer series paper to attach along the bottom.  I used a piece of the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper that came out for a short time around Christmas.  Just because I had it on my desk at the time.

Time to Shell-ebrate:

Next I stamped the turtle from the Turtle & Friends Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Classic Ink and colored it with Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends.  You will then punch out the turtle with the Turtle Builder Punch and stamp the party hat and color it with Soft Seafoam and Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blends.  You will have to cut the hat out with your Paper Snips but it's not too hard.

You are going to attach the hat to the turtle's head with adhesive and pop the turtle up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add a Mini Stampin' Dimensional behind the party hat so that everything is evenly popped up.

Finishing Touches:

To finish off the card you will punch two clouds from Basic White Cardstock with the Cloud Punch and add just a little shading with the ink that's left on the Blending Brushes.  Finally add a few of the blue sequins from Artistry Bloom Adhesive Backed Sequin Pack for a little sparkle and shine.
