Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a super easy and fun fancy fold card using the In Symmetry Bundle and Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper from the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  The Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper is one of the packs of DSP that's currently on sale during the Designer Series Paper Sale that ends on August 2, 2021.   Here's a look at my card.

The Drapery Fold is a simple fold but can also be a very confusing one since it is so easy.  This fun fold can take a little time to get right if you don't pay attention to how your fold it.  I have to really think about which way I am supposed to fold based on how I cut it.  I actually made two versions of this card that I will share with you today.

The Sweet Symmetry DSP Cutting & Tips:

But if you pay attention to who you cut it really it's not that hard.  I will tell you that if you have a directional pattern you do need to flip the DSP over to cut it making sure that the direction is upright.  The folk art designs and motifs in the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper will inspire your creativity as well as give you a feeling of nostalgia. This high-quality printed paper includes traditional, symmetrical folk art images and florals in soft colors. It’s a great choice for card making and scrapbooking. Each sheet is double-sided, giving you twice the crafting options.  Plus as I mentioned above it is currently on sale until August 2nd.

IN SYMMETRY BUNDLE:

The In Symmetry Bundle includes the In Symmetry Stamp Set and the Symmetrical Stems Border Punch.  I stamped the hey friend sentiment from the In Symmetry Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo Ink at the top and in the center of the Basic White layer.

The In Symmetry Stamp Set combines bold images and beautiful scripted font.   If you love folk art crafts then you will want to try our the In Symmetry Stamp Set for sure.  You will be able to create your own folk art cards.  The In Symmetry Stamp Set contains 17 photopolymer stamps.

Combine the bold images for symmetrical floral art; stamp in multiple ink colors for your own folk-art touch. Some of the images are paired for perfect symmetry.

Symmetrical Stems Border Punch will allow you to cut out mirror-image horizontal leaves quickly and easily with the Symmetrical Stems Border Punch as you can see on my project today.  On one of the cards I used just two colors of cardstock to punch out the leaves and on the other I used three colors.  Punches are a quick and easy way to add die-cut shapes that add interest and depth to your projects. And punches are a great way to cut out stamped images—many of our stamp sets have coordinating punches. Our punches are high quality, affordable, and easy to use.
