Snowflake Splendor Gift Card Holder - Itty Bitty Christmas Stampin' Up! Video Tutorial

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a great little project using supplies you may already own.  I used the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set for my sentiment and some of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper on my card.  And, my card has a little surprise as well, it's also a gift card holder.  Here's a look at my card.

Tips & Tricks:

I like making this gift card holder because one it's easy, and two it really doesn't take a lot of time.  Another benefit is you can use things you already may own as well.  I decided to go with a piece of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper as the background piece.  I only used as 6" x 6" square to make both the card and the coordinating envelope.  Which made me super excited.  I pulled the colors for the both cards from the designer series paper.

Pulling the colors from your designer series paper is an instant win!  Why you may ask?  Well, the answer is simple because Stampin' Up! did all the work for you.  All you have to do is pick one or two colors from the designer series paper and you know that you have a super color coordinated project.  For the version above I used Misty Moonlight and Highland Heather and for the version below I used Pool Party and Balmy Blue.  The gift card holder takes only a half sheet of cardstock and a few score lines to make the base.

To decorate the card you only need a few additional pieces of cardstock which could be found in your scrap drawer.  To dress up the gift card holder a little bit more I used the Christmas Layers Dies to die cut the snowflakes you see on the front.  My sentiment came from Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set that is in the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

To create the pocket for the gift card to sit in I used a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the folds and the Classic Label Punch to create the opening.
