Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a super cute and easy Christmas Card with you today using the Peace & Joy Bundle from the August-December Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog.
As I mentioned above this is a very easy and quick Christmas Card to produce. It's mainly stamps ink and Paper. Well, actually it's all really stamps, ink and paper and a little ribbon. One of the reasons I like this stamp set is because it's super easy and fast to create a holiday card with.
The Peace & Joy Bundle includes the Peace & Joy Stamp Set and the Joy Dies. Send your warmest Christmas wishes with handmade cards you make using the Peace & Joy Stamp Set. This set has the words to say what you're feeling. Add any images from your favorite stamp sets to finish off your cards. Create die-cut words using the Joy Dies.These dies include the words "Joy," "Peace," and "Bright." Use them on handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects. They're perfect for Christmastime but you'll find uses for them all year long as I did on this fun summertime birthday card.
For my card today I used a very traditional color pallet. I used Real Red, Old Olive and a little Shaded Spruce to create my card. Once I picked out the colors I wanted to use it was fun to start stamping both first generation and second generation festive foliage around the center of the Whisper White panel in both Old Olive and Shaded Spruce Inks. I did throw in a little Real Red with the holly berries.
Next I moved on to the sentiment on my card and die cut all three pieces of the Joy die in the same colored cardstock as my ink. I layered each piece together with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue before popping it up in the center of my card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then stamped one of the banner sentiments from the Peace & Joy Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink and cut it out by hand. I added it to the card with a few Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish off my card I added a bow made from Real Red Double Stitched Ribbon and layered my card front onto a Real Red Cardstock Mat which was placed on my Thick Whisper White card base.
