I Believe Christmas Means More - Rick's 15 Days of Christmas Day 4

Hello and welcome to my blog; today is day 4 of my 15 Days of Christmas Series where I am share many ideas to inspire you to share a #craftyhandmadechristmas this year.  I have a new project, video, and ordering special for you each day.

I have another non-traditional color schemed Christmas Card to share with you today for Day 4 of my 15 Days of Christmas Click to learn more

Today's card is another card featuring a non-traditional color scheme.  Today's card features the Christmas Means More Stamp Set and Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.
I picked the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper because of the it's colors!  I thought that the Whisper White, Petal Pink, and Gray Granite Color scheme would be fun to make a Christmas Card with.  So, I pulled my colors for this card from the designer series paper.

And, I was right it does make a fun non-traditional color scheme for a Christmas Card.  I paired the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper from the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog with the Christmas Means More Stamp Set from the August-December Mini Catalog.   The Christmas Means More Stamp Set includes Christmas movie quotes that will make hearts smile and rejoice.  You can also create unique Christmas cards, tags and more with the Christmas Means More Stamp Set which makes it a perfect addition to your crafty stash.

This is a great card design to use up some of your scraps of designer series paper also.  I used four strips of the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper on my card today.  I couldn't leave the Petal Pink Cardstock layer just plain so I embossed it with the Dainty Diamond 3D Embossing Folder I love the elegant texture that it adds to my card design.  And, it's not overpowering so that makes it even more perfect for this card.  I wanted to keep everything as simple as possible to really showcase the "I Believe It's Silly, but I Believe" sentiment stamped in Petal Pink Ink on the Whisper White stitched scalloped rectangle that I cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
