Rick Adkins, the author of "A Love Out Of Time", is a writer and former radio personality now living in Florida.

Growing up in West Virginia, Rick began working in the broadcasting industry while still in high school. It was there that he met and eventually married the love of his life, his wife Bronda, and the two headed off to sunny Florida where they have lived ever since.

"Florida always held a magical allure for me," Rick says, "and even after all of these years it's still my favorite environment."

When taking a break from writing, Rick and his family like to enjoy the local beaches, fishing and swimming, and spending an inordinate amount of time at Orlando area theme parks with their grandchildren. "Our children practically grew up at Walt Disney World," Rick says, "and now the grandchildren give us the opportunity to take them every few weeks as well. Which is a real advantage, since it's our favorite place to spend our leisure time!"

Rick's next novel is slated for publication in 2008.
